You DO realise that this is what the intro thread is for, don't you?

As such, this thread is now about the nature of the state.

Supreme Court doesn't help when they just get an agent to set you up on a drugs charge.

You guys should be careful about what you post on the internet because the pigs do monitor websites -_-

Ever heard of the Clear and present danger clause?
Take a look
Where is your 1st ammendment now?
That case applies during times of war when the country is at risk of invasion. Me saying im a Communist does not violate that clause nor does it put at risk the domestic security of the United States. Its expression of a personal opinion. And the last time this clause was put into serious force on the public, was Vietnam. And why should we be ashamed of who we are? I am who I am, if the government has a problem with it, it can kill me. I wont sacrifice my belief in Communism to appease a Bourgeoisie State!

Oh, really? I've always been under that impression. Though I've not received any American history schooling seeing as I'm not American.

Ah, here's something of use.

Quote:
The United States Constitution is an assimilation of ideas from many minds. It is the joint effort made by the people, the Native Americans as well as the settlers, who were intolerant towards suffering and accommodating towards values that bound them together. The Constitution of the United States of America is the supreme US law since it provides the framework for the working of the US government. Benjamin Franklin and George Washington are two of the great minds that went into the design. However, it was the collective effort of representatives of all the thirteen colonies then.

It seems 'Franklin et al' is rather accurate, given that statement to be true.

'Gouverneur Morris of Pennsylvania et al' would be more accurate. He took notes and ideas that people (Thomas Jefferson, George Washington, James Madison, Thomas Paine, etc.) sent him and Morris wrote the drafts as well as the final copy.

Benjamin Franklin had very little to do with writing the constitution. James Madison was the primary 'note sender'.

I am an American. The statement is not accurate. No one person wrote it, and to push my point home, Franklin opposed the Constitution.
