Wickitttt, How old are we going here? :33 It'll help me with my room description and future writings. :3
If it's really old and abandoned this is what I got for the Theatre Room. Feel free to critique add or subtract anything needed.
Within the pillars and stone of the theater lie its heart. This place once the 'real deal' seemed now, a bit fusty and yet quaint. Since it was abandoned the upkeep hasn't faired well. Hundreds of chairs in rows of fifteen each, some broken, some disappeared. The walls were adorned in paintings and statues. The pewter however had obviously met its time in each figure of stone. The paintings were so darkened by the elements one couldn't even make heads or tails. Even the ceiling mural was beginning to lose its artistic touch. Drapery covered the letterbox seating, giving it a shroud of mystery, the rail of the balcony was bent outward. What kind of force could have done such a thing? The theatre didn't seem completely abandoned, however. The organ seemed freshly dusted and the pit still seemed to be in use. How curious this was, but as they say, the show must go on. Though dark and dreary the place was made with a keen eye for detail. In its prime it could've been easily known for its sheer elegance. Even now, broken, and beaten, it is still quite a sight. What strange events occured at the Durem Theatre? Why was this place of luxury abandoned to the hungry wolves of age?
I feel like it's a bit jumbled personally so I need more critique on it.

Hmm, I'll have to put a critic squad together, I'm juggling a bunch of things at the moment and can't make heads or tails of anything that's not a simple question.
The theater itself is quite old. It came from the daper "elegant" age, so it was built to the highest standard. But also note that it was in use since it was built, and has only been closed for five to fifteen years. We have all been working on remodeling it, but only enough to host a party. So as an example, we might not replace the dark, dusty carpet, but we would make sure that all of the chairs were in working order. We wouldn't replace wallpaper or a statue or try to repair something of that likes, but we would get the lights working again.
Pretty much picture an old theater that was always well kept but has been abandoned for awhile due to a mysterious incident, and put a bunch of happy GCDers trying to throw a party in it, setting up folding tables with Halloween table cloth, candy, an area where people are cutting out sheets, ect. A very creepy atmosphere with a very campy party going on.

OH OH I CALL THE NURSERY. Creepy little kid stuff is always fun. Reminds me slightly of the story "the yellow wallpaper" now and I loved that story. *raises hand* Also, what is a Green Room.

Excellent! Just remember, the theater layout is grand, artistic and excentric! Something you might see in zOMG (they have plenty of wacky buildings there) or Halloween Town (see the maps) Use your imagination, add character. It should be good!
We also need to get some kind of map to find out how all of this connects. If you feel that you are done with a room, post it here http://www.gaiaonline.com/guilds/viewtopic.php?t=17182081&_gaia_t_=1272&page=last
and have others look at it. If you aren't doing anything, you are more than welcome to go in there and give advice or compliments on others work. 3nodding

Okay, everyone, time to buckle down on this! I've decided to forgo worrying about images in each post at the moment because it would take too long, and we really need to focus on just getting these written. We still need someone to cover the Script Library, and if not, I'll take it on.
I'll also get to work on a map.
Ladies and gents, it's time to crack down. Once you're done with the room and have received some critique, feel free to post it in its own thread. I might edit your post a little bit later with a fancy image or title just to make it look more official.
And Dakki, are you taking on both of those rooms?

I'm definitely doing the nursery, but I can do backup on the backstage if it's needed. I'm a fast writer.
Right now I gotta finish my damn sig, though. @^@ Won't take me long.

And Dakki, are you taking on both of those rooms? Very good! And would you mind working with Qwake and me on the map? I've got the general idea, you've got the talent and Qwake has a lot of Theater knowledge that would probably help with the layout.
Ah, another location! The Garden! It's more of an attatchment to the Main Hall (I know it has a new name every 2 seconds), but it'll be opposite of the East/West Wing (head too fumbled to remember) It's a place to get some fresh air, so the main bit will be on the same level as the Hall (probably on stone with raised stone boxes for plants), then it'll have steps leading down into a large area. It will be in the Theater Property, and probably sectioned off with hedges.

We'll be posting the rooms in the main forum area, not the subforums.
And I am working diligently on the lobby area! I think I'll take the Script Library as well. 3nodding

586638 The swinging door doesn't even make a noise as it shuts behind you. The harsh light reflecting off the tiles takes a little while to adjust to, but you soon see how lavishly the bathroom is decorated. Gold-framed mirrors cover the wall to your right, beneath which is a seemingly endless row of basins. The bathroom smells of fresh roses, and...something else. Almond? Something acrid. Outside, the party is roaring, but in here, it's as quiet as a tomb.
This is beautiful. All I would add is a mention of the writing on the walls of the stalls, and mention the rumor that ghosts have been known to write messages back. Try to subtly hint that party-goers should try writing something on a wall.
