The best Halloween costume I ever had was as a fairy princess when I was five. It was adorable!

One of my favorite memories was dressing up as Cleopatra in fourth grade. My mom and I got a Cleopatra costume from the store, and then we got a long black wig and a pair of gold sandals, and my mom helped me with my makeup. That was awesome!

That would be fun! I bet I could get a black wig and Cleopatra cotume somewhere. And gold sandals are easy to find these days. Still, that's some money that I didn't want to commit.

Hmmm...if you have a solid white bedsheet, an old, "scholarly-looking" book, and a stuffed owl, you could be the goddess Athena. biggrin

My favorite Halloween costume was when I went as Sailor Jupiter one year. I made my own costume for obvious reason. I got a white sweat shirt and sweat pants, and cut off the arms and legs. Then, I got some green fabric and made a ruffled skirt to go on my sweat pants, and I made a green bow that I sewed to my shirt. Now that I think about it, it wasn't a very good cosplay, but I thought that it was great at the time. heart I wonder if I have a picture of it anywhere.

Awwww...that sounds so cute! If you find a picture, you have to share it!
Time for my daily stupid question: Anybody know how you can pose your "dream avi" on Tektek? I'm trying to create a possible entry for the guild's Halloween costume contest, but since I can't figure out how to change the pose, I can't position the props the way I want them. Care to help out the resident "techno-doofus"? redface
Well, I have GOT to go to bed. I am so sleepy. Good night, everybody!

Thanks! I was trying to think of a way for you to make an Egyptian-style dress, but the only thing I could think of was making a Greco-Roman toga out of bedsheets. Hence, the Athena idea. biggrin

Mm, I could do that easily, and I have the hair for it too! Thanks for the idea; I will see if we have any spare sheets in the closet.
