"Shadow?" he knew she was gone. He gentaly placed her on the ground and stood. His life was pointless now...

~One year after Shadow's death~
Lance walked along a bridge, hands in his pockets. She'd been gone a year and he had sunk into himself. The water moved swiftly below him, calling his name. he walked over and jumped up onto the railing, holding onto a cable.
"I wouldn't do that.." Lance looked back and saw a little girl, arms crossed.
Lance looked back. "Why shouldn't I?"
The figure smiled. "I'm gonna give you the change to save Shadows life...but it'll only work with you still living." he hopped down and stood before the girl, hands on her shoulders.
"I'll do anything..."
The girl nodded. "The time will come...and you'll know when it does. I'm gonna send you back four moths before Shadow died. This will be the only chance you get."

Lance nodded and found himself in his old house, Shadow sound asleep. he walked over to her and shook her shoulder, not believing she was real.

Lance pulled her into a hug, tears in his eyes. "I'm so happy to see you."

Lance dug aroud in his bag and pulled out an apple. "This is about it...I can get some more later." He handed her the apple.
