"Hmmm I'm not quite tired yet..." muttered Eivion to himself as he sat on the base of the light post, violin case propped between his legs. "I guess I could get more practice in but I don't really want to draw attention with all that's been going on lately... I suppose I could always lie if someone asked..." he continued to mutter to himself. "Oh what the *ell..." he set the case down and popped it open retrieving the smooth wooden instrument from the black case, lined with red velvet like material.
He gently rested it on his shoulder, his chin lightly on the black bit, bow in other hand. He lightly drew the horse hair over the strings letting out a soft hum of music. Tuning first...

He held the thing up, pinned between his chin and shoulder to finish tuning it before starting into his song. He drew the bow slowly against the strings, his fingers sliding over the metal strings causing a slow mellow tone that had a hint of sadness. His hand shook slightly giving the tune a richer sound as if it were a woman singing at an opera. He closed his eyes just focusing on the feel of the music, the feel of the strings under his fingers and the feel of the bow sliding over, slowly and steadily.
