Would you accept a little advice? Adjust the outline color to be from the same hue of the filling color (only darker, or sometimes lighter, depending on the background).

If it's a photoshop file and you still have a layer with just the outline and transparent background, all you'd have to do is to select that layer, select the area of the outline (if the background and filling area is transparent, a rough selection with polygonal lasso works fine) go to image > adjust > hue/saturation and click the "colorize" option. Then use the hue / saturation / lightness bars to find the desired tone.
If the background / filling on that layer is white, I have to remember what was the name of the option to do it in english (my photoshop is translated). I'll do it tomorrow when i have more time.

I think it was curves, but I don't remember exactly how it worked.
If the image mode does not have many colors, you can also use the replace color (but there will be probably several tones of gray to change. That's why I usually change the colors of the outline before coloring).

I use markers of the type NEO PIKO. i dont like the computer that much for coloring....im better at it by hand^^ heart

I like coloring on the computer because I've had tendinitis a few times, and coloring with pencils for too much time makes my wrist hurt (I'm left-handed, so if I split the effort between my hands, I don't force any of them. I use the mouse with the right hand, even for drawing on the computer).

I'm sorry if this violates anything already put up about what I should or shouldn't say.
I do avatar art. Well, I have done only one so far located in my journal on here. I'm having this horrible block for art. I need ideas so please, please PM me with a request to do your avatar or anything to draw. :] I don't charge for my art so it's free. I just need something to draw really bad. I don't want to go around and just draw people's avatars and not be able to put it on my journal because I didn't have their permission.

What I cannot draw:
not 100% great with animals, realism, or drawing guys (the male species as a friend once called guys and yes he was a guy).
Practice makes perfect. I don't really draw on a computer because I'm really bad at it. Just please give me an idea.
