Remy slender hand pushed against the wooden door of the club that he'd heard a bit about it, mostly from others that had been there. As much as he'd heard about pulse, it was a little bit hard to find geographically. Of course the smell was a little bit of a give away once he'd gotten close enough. Once Remy had successfully made it inside the building, the sound he was greeted with was much quieter that he expected from a club such as this one. In fact, it was almost silent. He must have been just a wee bit early for the festivities that he'd heard about. In a rather soft voice, Remy spoke, "Hello? Is anybody awake?" As quiet as his words were, they seemed to echo through the building. Remy shook his black hair and let his tongue poke at his lip ring as he walked deeper into the building, still not seeing much of anybody quite yet. "Oh come on. Don't tell me this place is abandoned"

Duncan looked after Meniscus and saw him greet Caylix. He didn't pay much attention what they spoke and turned back towards the cash register. Now where was I..? He thought he saw something bright from the corner of his eye but assumed it was just one aberrant disco light. He couldn't see straight to the front door but startled a bit when he heard someone talking. Then he closed the register and headed towards the front door.

His lips lifted at the corners as a customer entered, one who he wasn't familiar with. Seeing that Calix had to take care of some needs, he walked to the Dj Center, flipping on some music to get the night started, whats a club without music? His attention then turned to the guest, he let Duncan to greet them, just observing. He leaned against the wall in the doorway leading into the dance floor. Arms crossed with an amused cocky grin placed on his lips, colorful lights flashing about the dim room placing his dark figure into view every few seconds.

Duncan hastened his steps as the music went on and saw the young man. He stopped in front of him smiling and bowed a bit. "Good evening and welcome to Pulse. I'm sorry if you had to wait, we're just getting the evening started. May I introduce you something to drink?" He turned slightly sideways and raised his hand elegantly towards the bar counter.

Remi walked stuggishly towards the somewhat hidden little hide out. It had been a while since he'd occupied the little attic of the club, and he still had to sniff out the little corners to figure out which way to go. He adjusted the uselessly big paper bag in his arms, juggling the two jugs of milk in his arm. "Caylix would have run out of milk by tomorrow...I'm sure.." He sniffed out the last corner. As he came within feet of the club, he adjusted his beanie so that it would cover more of his ears and eyes--an unfamiliar presence was beyond the door. He stepped into the club, and saw Don greeting a customer---a vampire by his scent. Remi shifted uneasily as he nodded towards Don to indicate an apology for such bad timing. He shifted over to the side to wait until the customer was properly taken care of.

Caylix fixed his poofy sleeves as he walked down the stairs, adjusting his look. He ran his fingernails through his bangs and long tuffs so that they wouldn't seem that tangled to him. Even though his hair is...fine. But he likes to think that something is wrong with it all the time. He tilted his head up, noticing that there is a visitor, he then nodded to himself. It seemed a bit early, but he could be wrong. He walked towards the stage, pulling himself up easily. Heading towards his set, he set the volume on the club speakers to an extreme low, just so if people walk in, it wont be dead silent. He pushed the play button to a recorded session. The music was deep but quiet. It would send a kind of 'vibration' to the body. Caylix smiled to himself for a few seconds. He turned his head, looking back towards the entrance. His pointed ears flickered, only wanting to hear little of the conversation.

Meniscus watched the poor elf for a few moments, the boy always entertained him, he felt like he should feel bad for thinking of him almost as a pet, their for him to watch, but Meniscus realized that how he felt towards everyone. He glided his way over to the other, then looking down upon him. "So nice of you to finally show your face this evening, Remi. Would you like me to take Calixs' milk upstairs for you?" He leaned in his eyes watching closely, his calm aura pressing out. His smell typically acted as a stress reviler, sublet and creamy.

Remi looked down at his shoes, poorly maintained, regrettably. He would be careful of that from now on. He twitched a bit as an intoxicating scent--a familiar one at that--strode towards him. He loosened a bit, as Meniscus' voice came close within the perimeter of his presence. Taken aback a bit at the not-so-sudden, but surprising melody. "No need, sir." Remi said, looking up a bit to his caretaker. It would be unreasonable to say that Remi stayed here because he felt indebted to the Owner, but you wouldn't really be wrong either. He felt a sort of "pet" vibe from the attitude that Meniscus held around him, but Remi didn't really take offense, because in a sense, he was a sort of pet to the club. He did what he was told to do, was fed and clothed, and of his own accord ran errands to help the daily lives of the actual workers. He didn't mind--he had nothing to lose, since his sense of pride was miniscule and ungrowing. He could sense Meniscus wanted him to move, so he made his way towards the dance floor, to get approval of entrance to a certain DJ's room.

Remy was just about to assume that the place was shut down, but much to his surprise music began to play soon after. And of course, being greeted by someone was also a pretty good clue that this place wasn't as run down or deserted as he thought. Remy smiled politely at the man that greeted, "No i didn't have to wait very long at all. I thought this place was closed since i didn't see or hear anybody. But i'm glad its not. I needed a place to stay tonight. And i think I will take you up on that drink." Remy smiled and made his way over to the bar, leaning against it to find the person that might help him find said drink.

Remi made his way towards the dance room, poking in to face Caylix, adjusting the milk so he would be ready to wait until the DJ finished adjusting the little buttons that Remi knew he could never really figure out. To Remi's surprise, Caylix was looking right at him as he entered the room, almost as if he was waiting, ears perked and all. This surprised Remi, and he sort of twitched as he got taken aback by the surprise. He readjusted the milk so it wouldn't slip, and looked sort of down to the side, the little elf wasn't really sure what his relationship with this peculiar DJ was, and this made the elf a tad uncomfortable with eye contact.
"Milk." Remi pointed out obviously, loud enough for the DJ to hear over the music. He didn't say anything else, waiting for the other man's reply. His face looked expressionless, but one could tell he was uncomfortable, what with the no eye contact and the lack of words. To others, he didn't seem nervous at all, but that was a downside Remi did not like about himself--he could not express himself very much.

Duncan was glad and a bit relieved that the customer wasn't offended in any way. He got momentarily jammed in his thoughts because suddenly everyone was around him but quickly adjusted to their presence. He nodded to Remi before following the customer to the bar counter. He then presented a couple of different drinks and bottles to the young mister - blood of course since the customer was a vampire. "Would this one be to your taste?" he then asked gently lifting one of the bottles. For any human being it would've seemed to contain wine but for vampires and other creatures with sharper noses it was clear it was fine blood. "Or would you like to try out one of our mixed drinks?" While the young man was pondering what he would have Duncan decided to tell a little about the hostel. He briefly explained about the prices and how to access the sleeping and bathing premises.

/// A few usual customers walked in [all vampire] All making themselves welcome, of these few was Elijah///
Dressed in his favorite white blazer and trousers he confidently strut his was over to the bar, where he saw a not so familiar face. Being the lecture that he is he took it upon himself to welcome the fresh meat. His lustrous crimson eyes set upon his prey, hoping to draw attention. Unfortunately he was very impatient so he couldn't wait to be discovered. He interjected himself, interrupting Duncan. "My oh my, who might you be?", he spoke and elbow on the counter, his long fingers resting upon his chin. A single eyebrow lifted as his perfect bleached teeth then exposed. His eyes shifted over to Duncan for a moment, "I'll have the usual and put his on my tab~"

Caylix tilted his head from poking around his computer. "Oh..." He muttered to himself, not meaning for other people to hear. His ears twitched up and down. Milk. Very interesting for someone else to buy him things. He turned to the side. People are starting to stroll in, I can't leave my position now... He bit his bottom lip, then leaned forward, above his laptop. This was so that he didn't have to talk loud for the other to hear him speak. "um...My door is open...if you don't mind...i-if you could just drop it off." He almost stuttered, and he tried his best not to. It was a little awkward for him to speak a full on sentence. Or, if you even considered that a sentence. He was sure that Remi wouldn't mind dropping it off, since he was at work. But he just hoped that he didn't fall into his little 'magazine stack' (everybody has visual needs, right?). He began to turn up the volume to the music as people came in. He stared at all of them, analyzing them. Vampires. A lot of Vampires. Sure, they could try to suck his blood. Depending if they can. He doesn't know what his blood is made of, since he used to be a little experiment and all. He rose his arm, scratching the back of his head, and then dimmed the lights not too dark. He would only make the club pitch black until it was halfway full. He moved his hand towards the switches to the strobe lights, turning on 2 Chauvet lights, and one large Eliminator Criss Cross Beam.

he heard a little rustle--or rather, a creak, and the reply to his...one word. He nodded, turned around, and started for the stairs. Though it was only a few--the recognized but indiscriminate scents seemed to blanket around Remi--more customers started to enter. As the slight warmth of the heavy aura these vampires--and a few other species-- flooded Remi's presence, and made him really feel he was there, regardless of the missing memories. Everyone here had come to taste the pulsating world that Meniscus had created, and Remi was there to see it all happen, night after night, something was born from the musical notes, laughter, lust, secrets, and so on. It was an overwhelming world that kept Remi within the sand of time--in the gift of today, the present.
Remi was lost in his thoughts when he had reached the DJ's room. He trashed the empty milk carton, as he turned around, to get the replacement, the sudden change of weight in the bag in his arms threw him off--since he was still lost in his thoughts--and sort of kicked the fridge door closed. He fell, and tumbled into a stack of magazines beside the bed. He managed to keep the jug of milk up, so as not to put any MORE damage to the magazines. Cautious, with a slight pain on the back of his head, Remi sat up, picking a stray magazine off his head, only to find a...revealing picture of a very attractive person. Remi felt himself blush as he fumbled with the magazines, stacking them up carefully, flustered.
I've done it now... Remi could only think to himself, as he rushed out of the room. Going down to the bar, he placed the jug of milk on the counter looking down, still blushing slightly.
"For Meniscus." Remi managed to tell Duncan, without stuttering, quietly. He walked to the edge of the DJ pit(Remi still didn't know what it was called), peeking up, still blushing--"D-done.." Remi said loud so the DJ could hear.

Caylix turned his head to the side, noticing that Remi had came back to tell him. Guess he was being considerate? Luckily that he could hear things quite well. His ear twitched as the other male muttered. "Thanks-" he stopped himself for a bit. Remi looked quite red. Was he sick or something. Caylix wanted to ask, but he felt that it wasn't his position to ask such questions. But with the others members busy with work..."Are you alright?" his head tilted just barely to the side as he asked. Hesitation was definitely in his voice. Maybe he should help him out? He turned his head towards his laptop, the music wasn't even close to ending, so he had nothing to worry about.
