"It's not real. It's not real." The repeated whispers escaped from Sasame's mouth. Her stomach churned as each footstep brought her closer to the giant door of the building. She cautiously stepped inside, glancing nervously to the trail of water and glitter leading her to the next door.

Sasame froze as she became inches away from the giant door. She reached her hand out, and gave the door a sharp tug. It didn't budge. Another, stronger pull. Still no movement. The door rattled at her failed attempts of pulling the giant door open.

At first, Sasame thought it was maybe locked. That is until a thought crossed her mind. Taking a shaky breath, she lightly pushed the door. It opened.

Now being extremely nervous and embarrassed, Sasame's face began to redden. Not only was her face red, but now she could see three of the beings she had never though she would actually see. A fairy, a mermaid, and a..a wolf?

Her heart jumped, not sure what to do. Face still red, she slowly and cautiously entered the room.

Ilias' ears twitched at the sound of the door opening and turned his head to see who the new arrival was. He cocked his head slightly at the scent of fear but satisfied that it was but a harmless human girl, harmless to him anyway, and not the vampire who was due later, he lay his head back on his paws and began to lightly doze; heavily enough to somewhat replenish himself from his journey but lightly enough that he would be alert for other arrivals.

Rivula looked toward the door, her curiosity rising still higher at the appearance of the strange creature. Her mind struggled to catch the label of the newcomer. There was no fur, no fangs, no wings, nor anything that looked to be out of place.... A "Hurmen", she supposed. They were about as odd as they came, or so the other Fairies had told her.

The blonde waved enthusiastically, almost falling off her perch in the process. "Hello, strange one!" she exclaimed. (Had her subjects been available to witness her actions, they would have immediately disowned her.) Rivula giggled, her blue eyes gleaming with interest. "It's nice to make your acquaintance! I hope you didn't have difficulties finding this fine location like I did!"

Her gaze fell upon the other two--the Fish and the furry one--and she was about to speak...but she stopped herself when she noticed that the furry creature's eyes were closed. She frowned. Was he sleeping? She hoped he wasn't dead.... Too many deaths had occured amongst her own race; she didn't think she could bare it if it happened to anyone else, especially those whom she had just met. Rivula fluttered down from her spot on top of the chair, and she glided over to the Puppy. From a short distance away she could feel the warmth radiating from him. This made her smile. She then snuggled close to the furry being, grinning happily.

This meeting everyone was dreading sure was turning out as being a lot of fun.

Azura felt her eye twitch involuntarily at the fairy's voice which had broken the ongoing silence. Her stomach knotted as she began to dread the upcoming meeting. The human who just entered seemed harmless enough, but she always knew better than to trust humans. The wolf was threatening with his appearence alone. Azura shuddered as she thought of how frightening he would be if the negotiations went awry. The fairy seemed bubbleheaded enough to be an almost certain risk of turning said negitiations sour.

As iff on cue, the pink entity giddily fluttered to the sleeping beast and snuggled up next to it. Azura fervently prayed for the temper of the wolf to be an agreeable one.

The pine needle scent grew stronger when Ilias felt a light, comfortable pressure on his side. He opened his right eye to see the little fairy snuggled up beside him with a smile on her face. He grinned slightly at the sight of her there. The thought of such an innocent little creature curled up beside a gigantic beast like himself was somewhat amusing to him.

Because he was unable to communicate orally while in his wolf form, Ilias instead reached out to fairy's open mind with his own.

"Can I help you?"

Sasame glanced about the room once more. "Hello..." she said quietly in response to the fairy like creature who had spoken. Her eyes followed her to the wolf who seemed asleep on the floor.

She waited, waited for the wolf's response to the fairy against him. Her muscles tensed, almost expecting the beast to react in anger. When he didn't, she relaxed a little. Although she definitely didn't trust these beings yet.

The Fairy gasped at the deep, masculine voice that penetrated her thoughts. "Puppy can talk! Yay!" she cried, hugging the Wolf tighter.

She looked toward the Human, who seemed to be really upset. She frowned. Maybe the Human was upset that she wasn't being hugged? Or maybe she wanted the meeting to start so that they could have fun afterwards.... Rivula grinned at that thought. She got up from her place beside the Puppy and flew back to her original spot. "Kaybie, then!" the Fairy began. "Let's get this thingie started by finding out who's here. Hmmmm...." Her glittering blue eyes flashed about the room. "We have the Hurmen, the Fishie, the Puppy...the fang one isn't here yet, and neither is the witchy woman...." She shrugged, still grinning. They could always come to play later. After all, anyone was welcome here!

"Alright! Let the meeting begin!"

Azura's eyes widened briefly as the fairy announced the beginning of the session. Though she was unfamiliar with the surface customs, she felt uncomfortable beginning without all members present. Drawing herself up from her awkward spot in her chair, she was determined to make her first impression a proper one. This goal, however, was swiftly deemed unattainable as she slipped in her attempt to readjust her position on toppled over the back of the chair.

The doors slammed suddenly open as a cyclone of dust whirled into the room, the wind from it blowing strongly against everything. The tornado-like structure weakened, then began to disappear to reveal a strange woman spinning rapidly in a circle. A few colorful feathers dropped from her headdress and floated to the floor by her feet.

"Ala... ca-ZAM!!" she shouted at the top of her lungs. Her spinning began to slow until she stilled on her toes, after which she promptly collapsed on the floor.

Sasame's hair flew infront of her face. Luckly, she was barely out of the way of the giant door so she wouldn't be squished. She watched in extreme confusion as a women could be seen spinning in her swirling sensation of wind.

Sasame slowly made her way around the crazy woman on the floor. She kept an eye on her the whole time, half expecting her to jump up and attack her.

After making it safetly past, she walked over to the table. Why were these creatures positioning themselves so strangly on the chairs. But, a harder question: Should Sasame do the same?

She debated this for a few seconds. Deciding in the end not to. She quietly sat down in the chair the way she had always done. Still wondering why the others chose to sit in a different, strange way.

Rivula watched the witch's arrival curiously, then she grinned. "Alrighty then! Witchy woman is here!" she announced. Her wings fluttered excitedly, and she giggled when the Witch flopped unceremoniously to the floor. She glanced around the room again, her blue eyes sparkling.

"So, this meeting thingy is supposed to be for a war or something, correct?" The Fairy grinned wider. "What's it about?" she wondered aloud.

"No!" Madame Mim immediately disagreed, pointing her stubby finger at the Faerie. "It's not a war! It's a game." She hopped up on the back of the chair next to Sasame's, reaching over to play with her hair.

"I like games. Don't you?" she inquired, looping a lock of the girl's hair back towards her face and brushing it over and around her nose.

Ilias jumped as the big oaken doors slammed open followed by a bizarre whirlwind. His eyes could make out the strange witch woman spinning in strange positions and he couldn't help but watch to see what she would do next. When she then slowed and collapsed on the floor, Ilias rolled his eyes and lay his head back on his paws, shifting his position on the floor so he could watch the goings on.

Thus far, he was not amused, with the acception of the happening with the little fairy girl, and he felt somewhat uneasy and out of place considering that he was the only male currently present at the meeting.

Azura's jaw dropped at the antics of the wild witch. Was no one taking this seriously? Azura was tempted to speak up, but, judging from her prone position on the floor, she had no place to judge.

Settling back on the chair, she cleared her throat, "So, where does everyone stand on the issue so far?" She hoped that the meeting would pass as quickly and professionally as possible.

The Fairy hummed happily to herself, swaying slightly as if there were a breeze tossing her from side to side. So many new people! So much to learn! Half of them did look hostile, though.... Did they not want to be friends? Why wouldn't they play with each other?

"So, where does everyone stand on the issue so far?"

Stand? Rivula looked down at herself. She was sitting on a chair, not standing on an issue.... What was an issue?, she wondered to herself. But she didn't stay on the subject for long. Time was better spent talking than thinking--her companions back home muttered that she would explode if she thought for too long. "Yeah!" she spoke up. "Why do you guys look so unhappy with each other?" Her attention turned to the Wolf, and she frowned. "Did someone pull your tail?"
