Grimmjow's impatience was increasing by the minute. First, where did Ulquiorra get off, taunting their power now. What did he know, he'd been in hiding all the time, the coward. Aizen was no God...just an over-ambitious Shinigami trying to reach for the unattainable. He, however, still wanted to surpass the others. His power now would have been enough to make it level with the others in the top three. He'd earned his right, and he had no right to doubt it!
Living with Shingiami and Arrancar, he'd learnt more than he would have in a lifetime with Aizen. He learnt how Arrancar and Shinigami were not so different after all. They both shared feelings, good and bad. He'd learnt to work with his fellow Arrancar, he learnt more about Shinigami and he'd learnt some new techniques.
When Hallibel appeared, Ulquiorra still didn't go. The Baka was really starting to annoy him...'the betrayers'? Oh, how original...When Ulquiorra referred to their old ranks, he instinctively thought to the 6, still tattooed on his flesh. He'd kept it to remind him of his main goals, and to never stop reaching forward.
When Ulquiorra fired the cero, Grimmjow instinctively launched himself forwards, unsheathing his zanpakuto. His battle plan was test his opponent's strength using his sword, and only releasing his sword when the fight began to get interesting or his opponent decided to kick the match up a notch. He could sense Ulquiorra's power had risen since the last time they had met, but even last time, they had fought on equal grounds. Now, it was just a matter of who had trained hardest during each other's absence. "Come on, if it's a fight you want, I'll give you one!" he yelled as he descended, speed increasing as he fell, zanpakuto angled for a simple slash attack.

Kenpachi finally arrived at Las Noches, and was kind of disappointed with this trip to Hueco Mundo. There weren't any really strong Hollows nearby and he had to leave so soon, but then he sensed something as he neared the massive white fortress. There were FOUR Espada there instead of the normal Hallibel, Stark, and Grimmjow. While Kenpachi wasn't interested in Grimmjow, and he was forbidden to fight Hallibel, he was usually one to try and pick a fight with Stark, but now both Stark AND Ulquiorra were there. It was like Chrismas had come early for him! With a demonic grin on his face he leapt up to the side of the pillar that they were all on and began to run up. Finally he'd made it to the top, sword drawn, and he watched Grimmjow attack Ulquiorra. Since they seemed a bit preoccupied with things Kenpachi looked to Stark with the same twisted grin as always. "Oooh yeah... this is my kind of party. What do you say, Stark? Fancy a fight? Or would you prefer I take out that annoying insect Blue-Boy is taking on?"

As Grimmjow had randomly attempted to clash forward, he shunpoed to Grimmjow's side, clashing blades with his own. "Ahh, headstrong as always. Let's not assess the situation, and jump into the fray yes? Consideration and planning was never your specialty. Just nothing but brute force, not even elegance." He would then push his zanpakuto forward, knocking Grimmjow away from him. Ulquiorra smirked at Kenpachi's comment. "I must say, you're like Grimmjow's brother. You're literally brute force, but with no actual skill." Not losing focus of his current opponent he quickly sonidoed forward, slashing at his upper torso.

Rebecca, the arrancar had been watching the battle unfold. Who were these hollows with such high reiatsu levels? She had never met them before. Sonidoing to where Stark and Harribel stood, she bowed. "I'm pleased to meet you. My name is Rebecca Thompson. May I ask whom you are? Why are they fighting...?" She was a fresh arrancar, straight from being a Vizard, not recalling where she was, when she was, or really what she was. All she knew is that she had some anger in her. Something fed her such a yearning for power.

"The best way to asses the situation when threatened is to see how good the opponent is at fighting. Let's see how well you've managed to improve since the last time we met." he countered, pushing back at Ulquiorra, heading back up the column, back to the others. "So, what your saying is that, the last time we met, you were beat by an unskilled warrior." he said, parrying the blow, knocking the blade away, and at the same time lashing out with a quick fist blow into Ulquiorra's face, his fist glowing blue as the Bala charged up, to add extra damage. With Ulquiorra's sword was out the way, he only had a short amount of time to react. Chances were he would sonido, and try and attack from behind. He had to tread carefully, but strike big and fast.

Stark was getting annoyed. It was such a nice day before Ulquiorra had decided to show up, and now he and Grimmjow were duking it out. Then Kanpachi had to show up! Stark was about to leave just then and there, but luckily Ulquiorra was stupid enough to attack him. That would surely point the mad dog in his direction instead. When most attention was off of him, Stark noticed a new Arrancar had shown up on the scene, one that he'd never met before. He turned his head to her with a cocked eyebrow and listened to her introduce herself. It was odd, she was absoultely new to this place. Why was she able to stand in their presence? "Stark." He said rather stoically in response. He hardly knew what else to say. "They are fighting because of old childlike grudges."

Ulquiorra caught his fist as it launched forward with his opposite hand, the balas blasting into that hand. His hierro absorbed the damage with ease, Ulquiorra pushing his blade past Grimmjow's blade and under, cutting into his chest using reiatsu to get past the hierro. "Nice try." Ulquiorra silently stated, as his blade wound formed a line across Grimmjow's chest. He then pushed his fist back, sonidoing behind him. "Do not make a mistake, Grimmjow."
Rebecca stared at him, repeating his name. "Stark... I like that name." She quietly said, watching the fight. "You are all very powerful. I can feel your reiatsu. I'm glad I can breath in this."

((Def, I'm having trouble comprehending your post. Is Ulquiorra cutting into Grimmjow's sword? "Ulquiorra pushing his blade past Grimmjow's blade and under, cutting into it using reiatsu to get past the hierro," this doesn't make sense to me. What is the "it" that you are mentioning?))

Grimmjow lurched back, his robes now sporting a neat slash mark across his chest. Well, he had spares...at least the Shinigami gave them choice. Aizen had them wearing almost the same uniform everyday. Scowling, he spun round, swinging his sword to slash, then pursue with a series of rapid blows in quick succesion, to drive Ulquiorra back. Damn it, I'm King! I will not be beaten! he thought furiously, parrying, jabbing and feinting at each possible chance, to try to penetrate Ulqui's guard.

Ulquiorra smiled, using his single hand to carefully and precisely block every one of his wild attacks. "You're inaccurate. Look at how slow you swing." In his finger, he began charging a large green cero. "You will stand no chance unless you enter your resurreccion." He then placed his finger on Grimmjow's chest, unleashing the cero.

As every one of his attacks was blocked, Grimmjow grew more and more frustrated. As Ulquiorra charged his cero, Grimmjow thrust his free hand to intercept it, charging a cero of his own. He released it, and the two were engulfed in an explosion of conflicting energies. He remained inside the dust cloud, spiritual energy low and hand on his zanpakuto. Ulquiorra..was taunting him...something about this wasn't right. But, with Ulquiorra gone for more than a few years, and his God destroyed before his eyes, he could have become...unpredictable...still...this was unlike him. He kept an close eye on Ulquiorra's energy, making sure he didn't get too close.

"Tell me Grimmjow. What is the difference between the Panther and the Bat? While the Panther struggles inevitably to kill its pray, the Bat feeds on its own, slowly debilitating it. To simplify this reasoning... the Bat will always be victorious in the end. Why? Because he drains the life out of the Panther, and best of yet... he doesn't move a muscle." Ulquiorra stated, sonidoing behind Grimmjow instantaneously, slashing as he moved by him.

Hallibel scoffed at Ulquiorra's snide remarks. What the hell happened to this man? He was never like this before Aizen's death. Before he was silent, never said much at all, but now he spoke at every chance he got. Something must have really broken loose in that head of his. Watching Grimmjow duke it out with Ulquiorra was fun, but when a new Arrancar showed up Hallibel was a little more than just surprised. She looked down to the girl and actually managed a smile at her. "Come here, child." She said quite warmly. This girl reminded Hallibel of her fraccion, she couldn't help but want to take her in. "You can call me Hallibel, this is my fortress."

Kenpachi didn't pay any mind to what Ulquiorra said. The truth was that Kenpachi was actually quite a skilled swordsman, but if he used proper technique he would end up killing everyone he fought in one blow, and what fun was that? No, every fight he accepted needed to go on until both he and his opponent were near death. Only then would they both truly shine! Oh how he longed for another fight like that. It had been 50 years since he'd actually felt that feeling, and he needed it desperately. It was like a drug! Kenpachi allowed the blow to land on him as Ulquiorra struck at his chest. The initial strike sliced into his skin, but didn't get much farther than that. Tiny droplettes of blood formed along the slice. It was a good start, but not good enough. It would take more than an emotionless strike like that to do some damage, but then Ulquiorra's attention went elsewhere. Grimmjow was doing a fine job at doing nothing to the emo Arrancar, and Kenpachi could hardly stand it. He wasn't about to just jump up and attack Ulquiorra, what fun would that be? The man was so intent on humiliating Grimmjow that all of his focus was there and not on Kenpachi. It would be just as bad as if he took off his eyepatch and used his shikai. No, he wouldn't attack right now. The only way that this could give him any satisfaction would be to jump in between the two and fight them both! A sick grin formed on his lips and he was seriously contemplating it, but then a Hell Butterfly floated up to him. He turned to the insect, curious to know why it was here, but then he remembered that Du'o gave Hell Butterflies the ability to enter Hueco Mundo. How perfect. He listened to the message and his eyes grew wide. An attack? On Seireitei? Many casualties! "Gee, I'd love to stay and play with you, but if you aren't going to give me what I want then I'm going to have to go elsewhere. Later." With an excited grin Kenpachi ran off the pillar and straight toward the open Garganta gate, headed for Soul Society.
