Ex-Professor Remus Lupin
Of course, the books are told third person from Harry's point of view and really, how many things has Harry been right about? I put more trust into Hermione's views that Harry's.

I dont know. it's really hard to think that dumbledore would of been that wrong about snape. I dont really think that he planed to die because he would of told someone but then again who ever said that he was REALLY dead. couldent dumbledore have a horcrux? (if it said that he didn't in the book i'm sorry about that i just cant rember.)

That may have been my biggest problem with HBP...I did not like Harry being "right."

Me neither. He's wrong way too often, after a while I just come to expect it.

Dumbledore either says or implies that making a horcrux is dark, evil magic. I cannot imagine him ripping his own sould apart.

On a slightly off-topic note: Does anyone have a different "view" of Snape between movie and book? In the book, I hate him for how unfair his is. In the movies, a lot of his cruelty is left out and I find myself liking his wit. Am I the only one? neutral

Indeed, but then again i never did trust snape, the whold time i thought he was up to no good. he is evil i mean he killed Dumbledore!!

it's just a lot of the things he did didn't add up to me, I NEVER trusted him.

I do agree, we need to look at the view points. Harry would be bias considering he's loathed Snape since day one, and I have indeed read a few theories on Snape's nature.

I dunno.. I'm pretty sure that Dumbledore probably MADE Snape make the unbreakable vow. As a result he obviously had to kill Dumbledore, because Malfoy is a whimp. But I think Dumbledore was Ok with that since he's pretty old already. I mean really old, and remember in the first book he was talking about Nicholas Flamel?
He said that death was just another adventure, and I'm sure Dumbledore was ready for that adventure.
