If you look at '1337' it looks like a lower case 'L', two backwards 'E's and then a retarded 'T' so that gets you: lEEt or 'leet = elite = the best. Or so they think, really it just looks bad and is harder to type than standard English. It's done with other words too, as Ducky said, hax0r. hax0r = haxor = hacker = computer person or again the 'best'. That's as far as I've been able to sit and listen to someone try to explain it to me.
Can anyone think of people here that should be assigned to the squadron? The use of '1337' isn't the only offense that would get you here as this is for all noobs...

Umm, maybe breaking simple RP rules such as godmodding and the likes? Rules that are essential to RPing?

I mean people that we have right now or may join later, if you see something that may be ban-able tell a crew member. That way we can get the problem solved quickly.

Since I cannot understand leet, I have taken measures to investigate the matter. I have here in my hand a page. On the page is the english-1337 translations that I found on Wikipedia. Very usefull translator for the leet impaired. So theoreticly, you can use leet back at them and talk (Mostly taunt biggrin ) to them in their own language, because if seems all to common that the average leet talking person understands no english. Thank you for your undivided atention.

Anyway Dame I see you still havent gotten around to posting my n00b picture, whats up? And as for loving this guild, I do too. Its probably the only place on Gaia where I have "Found a place to fit in" so to speak. I was looking for a guild like this but I couldnt find one! Yay! It takes me ages to type in 1337, but I know for a fact that there's a plugin you can download for MSN Messenger that changes normal letters into 1337 for you.. Not that I have it. wink
