Vincent, your idea has my approval!

@shadowrainstorm: PM it to me and I'll take a look. We need variety if we're going to draw people in. So it's probably going to happen.

Grandpa Ducky I happen to be a mighty Ork Warlord who specilizes in the slaughter of the Tau. How ironic is that? I've got a 1500-ish point army that's not quite all painted (I take a LONG time on each guy) or, for that matter, put together. You see, my parents aren't supportive of the hobby at all and I can very rarely get a chance to work on them. I think my parent's don't like it because of the violence it has or maybe just seeing me be creative is strange to them... I don't know. Thinking a little more, I'm really good at killing 'Crons, too. We had this one little campign that stalled at the second battle because my friends 1000 pt Necron army couldn't defeat my 250 pts of Orks. We kept going with more and more 'Crons against my same 250 pts of Orks till my friend just gave up. I think we played around 5 or 7 games with my same starting forces. Glares... stare Is that so? Joking! Seriously though, how'd you manage to pull all that off? I butcher my friends Necrons and 'Nids all the time, but that's because he leaves them out in the open and I play a tank heavy army. Pure slaughter, especially on the 'Nids. Turns out they don't like Railgun Submunitions, who'd have thought. xd Yeah I take forever painting too, not for the same reasons of course but still.

That's what Orks deserve, a nice juicy Sub-munition pie! twisted xd
Seriously though, I think it will be fun to give the stupid Space Marines a little taste of their own armor piercing fire! Vespids are a definite addition to my army once they come out. Mmm, AP3 goodness... I plan on getting some Rail Rifles to increase the lethality of my Pathfinders. 3nodding I'm kind of wary of the Skyray, it might turn out to be useless and a waste of points. We'll just have to wait until it comes out to see what's going on...
There's one army that I'd like to fight but haven't had the chance to, Orks. I've wanted to try them out but no one here plays 'em... Oh well. I'm thinking about starting a new army, what do you think I should try next?
Oh by the way, my Tau are at about 2100+ pts depending on troop loadout. I think my favorite part of the game is the building and the competition, I'm not very good at painting, or I should say that I don't have the money to be able to afford the really nice paints. Not to mention all the separate coats that are recommended...

hey i've got an idea! I am not as experienced in W.A.R. RPs but I have learned that if you like massive control they are the best for the truly strategic rpist. In this style of RP you control over 100 units in order to crush enemy bases and rule over all. Its quite fun I think and I think we should maybe....give it a try?

The one thing that pisses me off the most about the new Codex is that Tau are getting snipers. Why in the name of the Holy Terra do the Tau need fething snipers! *Grumble Grumble*
Anyways... I just recently started trying to build a Traitor Guard army and the little I've done has been extremely fun. I've got 6 models made and only two feature kustomizations (Naturally spelled Ork-y). I just got a box of Zombies, too, and plan on making the coolest traitors ever. Wait... There's a point somewhere in there... Oh yeah! My point was that a Traitor Guard army might be fun for you to start, unless there are already a bunch of Traitor players in your area.
Question for you. Have you seen 'The Sabath Worlds Crusade' book anywhere? I hear tell that is has some rules for Bloodpact troops and the Loxatl. Both would make fine additions into my Traitor Army.

It makes perfect sense if you ask me, they are solely based around ranged comat, and therefore would naturally have snipers. There's really only one thing that I want them to change, that's the rules about an Ethereal's death. Currently most of the army retreats. But in the Codex it mentions that after the death of an Ethereal they will steadily advance on the enemy while pouring un-ceasing amounts of weapons fire into them, and not stopping until either everyone is dead on one side or the other, or they run out of ammo. Just personal opinion though... I've alredy got some Guard though, and have since become disenchanted with them for some reason or another. The_Priest hey i've got an idea! You see what you can figure out for it rules wise, PM me what you get and then just go ahead and get it set up!

I'm just saying that's how it should be, the way it works now is if an Ethereal dies, most of my army runs away, or at least has a good chance that they will... sweatdrop

Sorry, I didn't answer this question... I haven't even heard of it, sorry.

I have a suggestion for the 40K RP. I suggested this in another guild and the idea still hasn't taken off. In another guild I Ok. We have this little hive world. It's a pretty messed up place. There are some Orks left over from an invasion decades ago that live down in some equitorial jungles. In the hives here, we have some Xenos lovers. We've got some Tauist cults and some Eldar-lovers and what-not. Then one day Chaos decides that the planet needs to be taken over from some mysterious and dark reason. The Imperium hears of the Chaos fleet coming and a bunch Guard and Space Marines are sent in to it's kick-a**. Races/Roles so far: Human living on planet, trying to survive Ganger conscripted into service PDF trooper defending planet Guardsmen sent to save planet Space Marines sent to defeat Chaos Handful of Tau that have a slipt onto the planet with the help of cultists Handful of Eldar that have slipt onto the planet with the help of cultists Orks, the feral variaty, being Orkish Traitor Guardsmen trying to crush planet Traitor Marines trying to crush the planet We also toyed with the idea that there could be some Necrons, but I don't really like that idea. So... What do people think?

Hey trebor. 3nodding
@Ducky: It's a fine idea, I'm currently working on a story for said RP but it's taking a lot longer than expected. Really I'm just putting in more info than needed. sweatdrop So that being the case, we could use yours or now and see how it goes. 3nodding

I didn't know you were still working on the story.
I think we should use yours becasue mine is realitivy crap. It was around five minutes of me thinking about how I can cram the most races into one RP. I'm sure your will be better, by far.

Ducky listen, my story line is almost three pages long in Word at type 12 Times New Roman font. I'm not even done yet! What I need to do is cut it way down, but at the same time I don't want to... neutral
