Abortion is something personal debate..I don't think that just because this and that said this and that that they should go to the extremes of banning abortion or not...Its almost the same idea of medicine I would say because its some people don't believe in doctors there for they don't go there but it's like they say that doctors shouldn't prescribe medicine for those who are ill...yep thats what I think...personally I'm for it...I have my reasons...mostly from experience and I had a friend in a situation like that...and either way everyones gonna die eventually right?

It depends, If the parents cant take care of the child,are too imature to deal with it or the mother is raped then I'm for it. (its really up to the mother anyway)
But I personally wouldnt do it.

I am neutral on this issue, mainly because I simply cannot come to a clear decision on this issue.
If a woman is having a child not of her own choice, so be it. Abused, unwanted children are just as bad if not worse than an aborted child. Would you rather be ignored and unloved or dead? The child would most likely commit suicide later on in life. Also, a teen pregancy can be dangerous to the health of both mother and baby.
However, abortion is not an excuse to just sleep around with whomever you want and have an unborn baby suffer the consequences. That, my dears, is what I am against. A mother should consider the effects of her actions, for any life is precious. Plus, there is always the option of putting the baby up for adoption.
I don't believe that any side will ever win this "battle". There are far too many reasons for both sides to come to any clear-cut decision.

I am aganst it even incases of rape. Cause if it would have been like that i wouldnt have been born. N i think about it n abortion is murder. some above that posted that a baby is like a parasite well.. parasites r alive so if u kill it you KILL it meaning u just murderd IT.

I'm for abortion. I'd never do it since I'd probably be able to support the baby, but I'm also for choice.
Also, consider this. A woman has no way to support a child, and the child (once born) will die of hunger or exposure. sad Wouldn't you want a child die quickly? And also, a woman may not know how or want to take care of a kid! They might end up abusing it! So the child won't suffer a mother gets abortion. Plus the world is already so damn over-populated.
So yes, I believe that women should be able to abortion. I prolly won't, though. But other women should have the choice. The modern world should be full of choice for women. Abortion should be a right.

x~XCandyX~x What are your views on abortion?? Personally i am against it unless the girl was raped, then i think it would be ok. I agree completly.. thats the only reason i believe someone should get an abortion.

You can feel it kicking... some mothers say that they share emotions and have an amazing bond with their child before it is even born. How can you creat a bond like that with something that is not alive? And the girl being raped shouldn't justify murder. I call it that because, well, technically, that's what it is. You are intentionally terminating another uman life, another beating heart. Put the baby up for adoption or keep the baby. Don't kill it. How much bettter than the father are you if you do that? I agree with the first part. But not at all with the second part. I myself am a victim and although I didn't get pregnant from the rape, I do know what it feels like to be in the situation. When something that traumatizing happens to a person, they get confused and they can not function properly. sometimes they feel like it's their fault. And with all of those factors, they just can't see bringing a baby into all of that. And I know that Adoption is another option and better, but think about it. To know that your child is out there somewhere. Tell me it wouldn't bother you. Because I know it would bother me. And also, I am adopted myself. So I know how the child feels when they find out. I just couldn't see putting a child through what I went through. I personally think that it should be up to the mother. Different women think different things. This is my opinion.

Abortion? Touchy topic... I say that rape sentances should have longer periods of time added in, and even more upon pregnancy, that might cut down on the amount needed. And older women? Its called protection.

 Abortion is a touchy subject... but speaking as someone whose been on several sides of the issue (my sister has had 3 kids and given them up for adoption, as well as an abortion) I am agasinst abortion in all cases except when the baby is going to die anyway like in cases with tube pregnancies.
But, at the same time I think this entire thing is a moral debate and as such I don't feel the government really should have the right to control that. Making abortions illegal isn't going to work, many more would die (think shoddy abortions done in illegal clinics). Right now my state (South Dakota) has made abortions illegal and it hasn't stopped them, it's just put people in a more difficult situation, especially teens who then feel they have no where to turn.
People are just crossing the state line and going to other states to get abortions, and it isn't lowering teen pregnancy or unwanted pregnancies in the least. If anything I would prefer the money that is going into anti abortion or pro life funds to go more into family planning and education.

You obviously arn't a girl. Imagine your 13 some guy puts a gun to your head and rapes you. If that didn't drive you to kill yourself would you really want to have that mans child? I know I would look at the kid everyday wishing it were dead because all I would see would be the raper and all I would think about is being raped. It's nto murder when the baby isn't even devolped yet, it has no thoughts. I really think it shouldn't matter about what anyone thinks except for the woman making the choice and the father of the kid in question, everyone else should just back off.

I think that it's not right UNLESS:
she was raped
she is so young that she would not be able to support it.(they may not have parents to help them out)
but thats it.

I personally think abortion is wrong, but if a couple (or single girl) isnt able to support a child, then why bring it into the world in the first place? Id rather prevent the child from a loveless/deprived life. I know a lot of people think, well if you are smart enough to have sex, then you should be smart enough to take responsibilites for your actions. In a nut shell, dont have sex unless your married and then you won't have to face the difficult decision: keep it or not?

While I believe abortion is a terrible and evil act, I try to ignore it as much as possible.
Very few people abort in the first place (outside of China), and it's their karma that's being lowered. If a child isn't even born, yet, then their soul will simply be reborn into a new fetus, luckily one that won't have such a selfish birthgiver.
