Yea, thats cool to. I was never a cat person, dogs my whole life. I came out of the dr's office one day, and heard this horrible keening, I came over to the dumpster, and their where two tiney kittens up to their necks in back water clinging to a board. I climbed in and picked them up, they where back with crap. I had trouble getting out, and some old people came out of the office, and I asked them for help with the cats, and they said they are not cat people. I eventually got out, and took the kittens home with me, they groomed each other on the way, and both ended up being pure white, one with icy emerald eyes, and one with icy blue. I named them emerald and sapphire. Emerald died in just a couple of weeks, but I had Sapphire for almost a year. She got out of my house, and had kittens, unfortunately she died from eating a poisoned frog not long after, but I kept two of her progeny, one of those got out, and had kittens, thus I caught on to the whole spaying thing at that point and kept four of them. 3 siamese, and one black with a white chest and paws. There names are Sophia, Mia, Silver, and Spooky, and they are the most loving cats you will ever see, completely intrested in humans. They live their lives for me and my girl friend it seems.
Aww, that's a really touching story. I had two kittens way back in the day that I actually found on my 16th birthday. My friend and I were walking home from some thing that her school had done in the park across the street from where I lived, and there were these two blond (seriously, they were such a pale orange they were blond in color) kittens trying to get someone's attention. There was no mother cat, and they were obviously accustomed to people, so I brought them home. They were young enough I had to bottle feed them for almost two weeks. Mom thankfully let me keep them, but on that note my parents brought home far more strays than I did, so they really didn't have a problem with it. One of them got knocked up by a black cat when they were about a year old, and my friends teased me and said I was going to have Halloween kittens, which wasn't too far from the truth; all the males were orange and all the females were calico. Unfortunately the calico from that litter I had talked my mom into letting me keep died in my hands. sad It took my mom half an hour of my hysterical sobbing to pry it from my grip. So that part was sad. But they were all good cats. That's what your story reminded me of.
