There was a sudden ruffling from behind a bush when a small cetus emerged from it and approached Melody. Melody examined over the creature and reached out to pet it,"Hello there..." Melody said. The cetus shivered before answering with a small tiny,"Hello..." Melody almost jumped. She didn't realize that these creatures were able to talk. "You must be my new owner right?" Mist asked Melody. Melody nodded,"Yes,that is right. So that means you are Mist." Mist smiled at Melody before prancing over and climbing into Melody's lap." Mmhm. That's my name,Mist. And you are Melody! The lady at the store place told me.' Melody laughed,"Yes that is correct Mist. So,what would you like to do?" Melody asked Mist. Mist tilted her head,"Well,since you are my new mommy,you will need a place to stay. You can come live at my house." Mist nudged Melody,indicating she wanted her to stand. Melody stood and followed Mist as she led the way through the forest to a small cottage. 'Wow,I didn't realize that you all could talk and have homes and things..." Mist giggled,"Of course we can. We lie normal lives just like humans,but we also need caretakers that can watch over us because we are not able to defend ourselves." Mist crawled through a little doggy door thing into her home and and Melody turned the doorknob and entered inside,"Well,you should get settled down here." Melody nodded followed Mist,who led her to a small bed,"I had this bed put in just for you.' Mist smiled and Melody laid down on the bed and fell fast asleep. This would now be her permanent home for now.
