Yeah, I know of the book, haven't read it yet though. Heard it was really all the omg dark kind of stuff. You know she ends up in the loony bin in book two?
Disney movie still roxx your soxx if you look behind the cute stuff. Specially baked.

The Disney movie is a combination between the two, and they arent exactly different books, but rather different parts, like part 1, and part 2.
Part 1: Alice in Wonderland
Part 2: Through the Looking Glass
