the skipping records05 Nickolai Draven Yeah? I was in Stockbridge, Georgia about two months ago, man! And don't worry, I'm from Cincinnati, Ohio and it's nothing but Hip Hop, Gangster Rap, and ******** Black Metal. Is the metal blacker then my Duncan Hills Coffee ? Oh yeah.. It's Blacker than the Blackest Black Times Infinity! I get so ******** tired of hearing that s**t. Every single show sounds the same after awhile. Cincinnati's not really the greatest scene for music of my genre..

Oh you can get blacker! Sadly, though, the blacker you get, the shittier the music becomes >.>
And I took a contract from an Indie Label with another band I'm in (Not the one I'm touring with now). It was ******** shitty. I mean things were good at first, but then we started getting dicked on record sales and things. Then the place went under and left us royally ******** alas, it was a fun experience. Then there was my stint with my band, Concrete Spider and our deal with Metal blade records.. That was another ******** up story. Vocalist Overdosed and the Band ended up breaking up. That was about three years ago.. Damn, Doesn't seem like that long at all..

It leads to crazy s**t.. and when you get just a little taste of fame, the habits tend to get worse. I know because I was a HEAVY drinker up until that s**t happened. Kind of snapped me back on track and made me realize that it's about the music, not the parties..

Nickolai Draven the skipping records05 Hect You consider Pearl Jam good, and Nirvana bad? Am I missing something here? remember man! If its popular its bad lolz 1110101010 yeah I think OP is a little closeminded when it comes to understanding what is actually decent in this shithole of a genre Blind Melon makes me rage. It was ******** alternative-light for those whose cant take the br00tality of MudHoney or early Nirvana. I never concidered them "Grunge". They just happened to be around when flannel and long dirty hair was popular and got grouped into that s**t. I can't lie... I'm a huge Nirvana fan. I have been since around '93. Growing up where I did, I didn't get much. My cousin, who was far more privileged than I, brought over Bleach one day and I fell in love with it! I can still remember the first album I ever bought and owned was Nirvana's Nevermind. Say what you will about it, but I still love that album. It takes me back to a time where s**t wasn't so complicated. And I can still remember hearing about Kurt's Death. I was only, s**t... 7 at the time. but it hit me pretty hard. But Soundgarden, Alice and Chains, and Green River were some other Grunge bands that I really got into. And, dude. If it's a blonde headed punk influenced retard singing 'grandma take me home' repeatedly, it's bad. Blind melon is kinda grunge. Shannon hoons death got me pretty hard. (Blind Melon) I don't like Nirvana because nirvana isn't Grunge. Pearl Jam was more popular than nirvana, and i love pearl jam. Don't push that crap on me. xD

Nirvana is about as much grunge as Blind Melon Grunge= Alternative punk with blues-metal relations, later drawing noise rock and industrial relations into its unique sound when that s**t became popular in the underground scene. "Grunge" never existed, It was just a term coind by some newspaper for the sound that people used to make money quick. Its easyer for retards like you to refer to the 90s as the Grunge Movement when in actuallity it was just another form of Alternative rock that evolved with the decade. Grunge= the ever changeing underground rock.

I'd never join a Grunge Band Its fruitless and pointless any band who says there "Grunge" nowadays sounds like complete s**t and does it becuase they think its cool. Lucid BLiss is one of the few who actually dont suck, and even then they sound like Nirvana cardboard cutouts, alteast they dont rip on the same BS as Kurt though. Haveing said that though I would join an Alternative band whose influsences are Mudhoney, Fu Manchu, and Minus the Bear
