idiot wind isasm i just looked for that revolution 9 and it's...kinda freaky. (currently listening to it since you guys said it.) do i hear a newly born baby? and the number 9, number 9, number 9 freaks me even more...good thing it's morning. and it's long...
and you kinda have a point on that curse, but i'm not sure if i should believe it or not... Such a HORRIBLE song. (if you can even call it a song).I actually was fond towards it. Especially the intro because I have a thing for upper class accents that curse. lol

I_luv_Beatles Shoshana5769 I don't think there was a curse on John Lennon. I just think that he believed in things that some idiots didn't agree with, and they killed him for it. It's sad, but that's it. Actually, the reason Mark David Chapman killed John Lennon was because he was mentally unstable and wanted to be known for something. Some people believe that Mark David Chapman killed John Lennon because he said The Beatles were more popular than Jesus(which they were),but after the movie "Chapter 27" Which was based on the book Mark David Chapman wrote about himself they knew that it had almost nothing to do with what John Lennon said I hate that guy so much! (mark david chapman) I want to find him and punch him in the face! >.> I cry every time I read something about John Lennon

Oh that's interesting. i always thought of the whole "9" thing being odd. you know. And... god.. he was just.. an amazing person. a b*****d, yes when it came to things but just a very sad, beautiful person. and I think (keyword: THINK) he might've known something about, you know, his death. he's had some interesting moments where he trails off in interviews and he's had a few moments where he mentions death, or.. okay..
"deal with it or have me shot" (damnit John.) "we'll come back, if we're still alive, when we're fourty" (died when he was fourty) and there were others, but in 1980, he was very moody, and Yoko said he talked about death alot. maybe it was a coincidence, a slip of the mind and tongue, etc..
but he gave off a slight, if not, large, psychic vibe.
in conclusion, i love that man, and i wish he could have stayed around a little longer, for Paul, and Yoko, and Sean. maybe even Jules if he felt happy with John. meh.
and that's it, Pepper

Someone else feels the same way! Yes, I think he had something to do with his death....
but then again.. you could say that to a whole bunch of historical events, where there's a bunch of odd facts that have to do with the event being on purpose, on a specific day, etc.
I guess we'll never know...
