If I'm in Charlotte by then I should have a ride with a friend, but I have yet to find out when I will be moving, since... I have no clue when orientation is going to be held for the summer quarter's new arrivals. (That's when we sign the paperwork to move into student apartments, but I'm still doing the paperwork for financial aid.) Good luck with all that Umi.

This will be my first time attending Animazement ^^.. I'm looking forward to having a blast, and it'll be different compared to the last two Jacon's in FL that I've attended.. Looking forward to meeting some Japanese Seiyuu, and Manga-ka there ^___^ as well as dubb VA's ^__ ^ heart

I honestly have no clue. Yuu Watase might be there... of the 5 years I've been she's been there for 4 of them. Yasuo Yamaguchi has been another frequent visitor... Unfortunately those are the only one's whose names I can remember off the top of my head.

KasumiAngel That's neat I was at Otakon 2002 as well. I was White Mage in the Final Fantasy I mage family--this was before Luke was born so we only had the chibi-Red Mage. It's going to be a while before we make it back to Otakon. The trip was too expensive, primarily as far as the hotel cost for the weekend went. Good luck on earning your trip to Japan. That sounds really awesome. Yah for being married too... I don't think there's many of us married-peoples running around Gaia here... I think you're right, that there's not too many married people around here. ^_^ I had to go to Animazement 2003 by myself, since my husband couldn't get out of work that weekend. >_< But, I had fun, and I met some cool people there. ^_^ Otakon is way too expensive, even with the discount hotel rates and such. >_< Plus, the hotels that I want to stay at, always get sold out really fast. I love it because it's a big con, and they get awesome seiyuu and such but... it comes out to be a lot of money. My husband and I decided that it would be best to go visit the birthplace of anime. xd

My husband and I decided that it would be best to go visit the birthplace of anime. xd *nods* if we ever go back, we're only going to do so on the conditions that we find a babysitter for the weekend and leave the kids for the weekend and go to my aunt's house. She lives about an hour outside of Baltimore, so we'd try commuting from her place... the drive every day would stink, but the con is only for three days and it does draw some great stuff.... We haven't tried the commute before though because it would be a lot more difficult with two toddlers... xd Is your husband going to be able to come to Animazement this year? I think we might have to miss a little bit of Friday early on because Ekoja's going to be working... he's teaching a summer session class for UNCG which starts the week of Animazement; unfortunately we don't know what hours the class is going to be meeting on Friday yet.
