Cormini Haha, I can't believe I missed that in the first post. Leave it to me to make assumptions. razz As pointed out earlier, Explosion would be bad to use against ghost, rock and steel. Though, that doesn't mean that there is going to be a high chance that someone's team is going to be littered with pokes only from that category, unless they are using a sandstorm team, or are playing pure type teams, which have many weakness in on themselves which are easily exploited. Just because someone throws in a poke you can't kill out right doesnt mean, you have to explode then. After all, that is the beauty of a calculated switch. Also friend, if hurting your friend is a problem, why not pair it up with a ghost like dusknoir. After all, the one poke that I can see that can be easily switched on your team is weezing. After all, Dusknoir has access to of the same moves, and then some. @Suskeult2: Your build looks alright, but I wouldnt go too far to dump a lot of EVs into Atk. After all, he is a wall. I would also drop swagger. God knows luck needs to be on your side for that to work in your favor, and just the though of boosting my opponents attacks just doesn't sit right with me as well. I would replace that with taunt or will-o-wisp. Pain split would be ideal for this poke because its it only form of healing itself other than the item it holds. I would switch shadow sneak for shadow punch. It may be a lower damaging move, but with the moves I have suggested you, you can widdle your opponent's health away with pain split and wil-o-wisp to the point where they are all in KOing range. From there, you can get the last hit in for the finish. I personally make all the pokes that held trick room walls, just to absorb damage, guarrenting a set up as well, as causing some annoyances. Leave the job of KOing pokes to your sweepers, like Machamp, Marowak, and Magnezone and the other just create set ups. i agree with your suggestions...i only suggested that moveset because atttack is dusknoir's 3rd highest base stat,so you wouldn't have to put much work into it....one super swagged shadow punch would be bound to hurt even with dark or steel types....also,don't you think with shadow sneak, that would be even more reason to pour in the Att. EVs ?

EVs ? Sorry for the delay in response friend. In the end, it depends what role your poke needs to be in. Sadly, its hard for pokes in this generation to be versital enough to both soak up damage as well as be a good attacker. Dusknoir has the benefit because, not only does he have great stats to wall, but he has access to moves like pain split and will-o-wisp to both recover life and wittle down your opponent with. Shadow sneak is there to guarantee that dusknoir has atleast a physical attack so he doesn't get stuck in a taunt, as well as allow him to make sure he can get the last hit once an opponent is wittled down via pain split and will-o-wisp. Not to mention, Shadow sneak will be strong enough to take down pesky frail counters like gengar, and Alakazam with HP Ghost.

nikomas SJATO:KEJTK NO LAGGING TAIL MAKES YOU GO LAST IT DOES NOT REDUCE SPEED. Lagging Tail in Trick Room means you still go last. It doesn't affect speed. And honestly with something like a Slowbro with 0 speed EVs and low speed IVs you shouldn't need to worry about something "outspeeding" you under Trick Room. Sorry, I tend to get frustrated with misinformation, especially as there have been some instances where people have said things far more ridiculous that were taken as serious advice. smile

i have got an idea for you have a bronzor + shukle lead bronzor sets up trickroom while shukle uses power trick it is so slow that you are garanteed no hits on shukle with its mega low def and it will survive most things and it could have a focus sash just in caseande earthquake would be a good move to take advantage of bronzors levitate lol.

I personally wouldn't fancy being reliant on a moveset that gets killed by any priority move. Also, you have to hope they don't swing at Shuckle while it's setting up...
