A distant scream caught Little Cloud's attention for a quick second, but then the crab moved, so she was torn between two different types of curiosity. Whining, she picked the crab up in her mouth and padded to where she'd last seen her brother. Well, he wasn't exactly there anymore. With another whine of distress, she put the crab on the ground and looked around.
"Storm, where'd you go?" She called out, sounding annoyed and worried.
Hardly suppressing her laughter, Sand snickered and snorted as she watched the dark colored cub run away from her. Curiosity getting the better of this usually smart female, she followed him quickly, keeping low to the ground and quiet. When he stopped moving, so did she, so he would only see grass and not her. Though Sand Glass could see him. Snickering quietly to herself, she'd wait and observe.

Hearing his sisters worried tone, Storm Chaser picked himself up off the ground and dragged himself in her direction. His energy had drained out of his body more due to shock than exhaustion from the running.
"Cloud, there's something in there." He gestured towards the tall grass. "I saw it with my own eyes! It's BIG! And PINK!"

Something pink? Yeah right. With a snort of disbelief, Cloud eyed her brother carefully. "I think we need to get you home before you start seeing .....I don't know, huge bees that dance!" Little Cloud had to laugh at her own joke and did so earnestly, chuckling and laughing as she moved near her brother and head butted him. "Come off it. There's no way anything pink could be around here. Everyone around here looks like us!"

"But I SAW it! It's really there, seriously! It's big and pink, there's no way it looked anything like us. I swear it's in there...in the tall grass." He nudged his sister towards the general direction where he last saw the pink Saigh. "Go see for yourself."
He regret saying that the moment the words left his mouth. He was sure she was going to look now, he shouldn't have said it. Damn...if he had only gone along with what she had said and went home. Wouldn't that have been much safer? He sighed. "You're right, I was probably just imagining it." He tried hard to keep his voice steady and calm. "Let's go home."
