The boy falls over, pinned by his sister. "D'ah! What the hell!" He rolls slightly to the side, nearly falling into his five foot hole in the ground. "Steph! What the hell!" He sits up, blinking, noticing that everyone already had him surrounded. "When the heck'd you guys get here?" He rubs the back of his head, slightly dizzy. "I've been digging this hole here just to make a small lake. Was gonna dig a little river over here while I waited..."

She realizes that she'd been missing out on the social part for most of the first day and walks toward the now-growing group of people. "Hey guys, what's up? I'm Claire. You trying to build a sand castle with a moat or something?" she asked, oblivious and clueless to anything going on.

*Turns to the newcomer as she introduces herself*
"Hey guys, what's up? I'm Claire. You trying to build a sand castle with a moat or something?"
"Hi Claire, nice to meet you," Dew says with a smile. "Honestly I'm not real sure what my brother Nick, here is up to, he says he's making a lake and river, sweatdrop , but it seems more to me like he's just digging a sand hazard."

Chibi listens to Dew's and Nick's talk of a sandcastle for a moment before interjecting, "Can we put baby crocodiles in the sand castle's moat?"

She looked to the girl that mentioned her brother. "Well I hope he doesn't fall in and suffocate himself. That would be unfortunate." Claire was trying to be nice as possible, but with someone digging a sand hazard? She had to be concerned. She then turned to the girl who introduced herself earlier. "It's okay, it's my fault for being so quiet. But it's nice to meet you both," she replied.

Nick rubs the back of his spiny head for a moment, smiling slightly at the girls. " sweatdrop Ah, no...I'm just digging a huge hole here so I can sit in it sometime without worry about the waves kicking my butt..." Feeling slightly overcrowded, he backs away to find his towel, only to find he managed to bury it in all the sound.
"Son of a...Grrr." He let out a growl and began dusting away sand, looking for any signs of towely life from it.

"Hi Li-Mei, sorry I didn't say anything to you sooner, I was a little concerned with Nick's HUGE hole he's got here... especially since I sorta fell in it on my sprint down to the water..." sweatdrop
"Sure, I'll help you build something, with as much sand as is here we could make a sand fortress rather than a plain old sand castle!" Dew exclaimed excitedly. "I'm gonna go look for shells to decorate the walls with," She said with a nod, as she walk carefully around the 5' deep hole to the water's edge.

She beamed. "I'd be very happy to make a sand fortress with you girls if you like. It sounds very exciting! And don't worry about me, I'm here to enjoy myself with everyone."

Chibi stands on the sand in a reverie, imagining her baby crocodile moat and all of the unsuspecting people she can catch in it. The thought makes her chuckle. Suddenly, she notices that everyone has been in motion around her. She hears Dew and Claire talking about seashells and she is eager to help. Chibi runs to water and begins digging until she finds a strangely shaped shell that vaguely reminds her of something that she has seen in a biology class. She picks it up and shoves it in Dew's face.
"Here! We can use this! I think that it's called a gooey duck or something!"

*Looks at Chibi in surprise as she shoves a Giant Clam into her face*
sweatdrop "Ummm Chibi I suppose we could put that in the "lake" but I don't think it'd make a very good decoration," she said pushing it aside so she could see Chibi's silly grin behind it.
"Besides, I think I just found something much cooler!" 4laugh She said noticing something glittering just below the surface of the water at her feet.
