They are the ultimate models for projects of my myraid hobbies. I can use my ability to sculpt to attempt to make my own. My sewing and jewelry making skills come in handy after that. There's painting them.. And, finally, they make a decent model in an artistic pinch.
Most of mine are tucked away... not nearly as neatly as they should be. All their wigs are bound to be a dusty mess. I used to have them all out, but they creep my brother out, and he was getting into the habit of knocking them over to keep them from "starring" at him and trying to "steal his soul"
My niece loves my large girl, Kalaris... she needs a washing after all the 4 year old handling she's recieved (I don't mind).
Mom supports my attempts to make things for them, but isn't very girly to begin with and thinks it's really strange her grown daughter "plays with dolls".
My other siblings are indifferent, as is my dad, I think...

I was a Barbie kinda girl. And then I SET THEM ON FIRE!
XD
Then i found out about them back in 08 during august. I had to wait for my brothers to get their Lawyer money. ( They got $1500 ever 3 months and they gave me $200 each ) And i got my 1st doll. And then i found Pipos and such.
I love how photogenic they are. I Love how real they look. I LOVE THEM! Though when i was lil they did creep me out O.O.

I love them because they look like they have emotions and personalities, and there are so many types, so they're so diverse! I love looking at pictures of BJDs~!
Also, I think they are amazing works of art, and are definitely the best dolls ever. ^_~ They totally beat Barbie in my opinion~

well me i have allways loved the dolls but seeing the korean horror film the doll master made me want one even more.
well im trying to get a basic body eyes and hair and my mom is gonna help me find doll clothes.
humm what should i name her if i do get one?

I have always loved BJDs ever since I was introduced to them, because I love how beautiful they are! And I like how there are so many styles, and so many kinds, and the huge variety of BJDs out there. I am amazed by their ball joints and the face-ups that they have.
