I hope that it's true and that James wants to do it. I would love to see Illyria as well! I wish that Joss could have a part in it...it wouldn't be the same without him.

I read in that the movie will be playing off of the Angel series, not the Buffy series. That much said, I don't know that Buffy would be in it... I know that she made appearances in "Angel", but I don't know how much money they'll be getting to do this movie, which means that it's difficult to tell who'll be playing a part in it.
It would be nice to give Buffy and Spike the opportunity to interact again, though. I loved them together. It would be neat to see them reunited after all this time. Would their relationship be the same, or would it be different? So many questions... confused

but without the whole cast from the tv show well it just wont be the same
heart i hope alyson hannigan is in it
tho willow might not really be in a spike movie huh sad

vampyface69 Tim Minear said he's gonna write and direct a Spike movie for tele. He jus tneeds to find out if James Marsters wants to do noe. Plus Amy Acker said she'd reprise her role of Illyria. Yay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! rofl dear Ororon i hope thats true

I seriously dobut that SMG will be in it. If Buffy was they would have to recast her completly. As far as the interviews with SMG go she's trying to get away from her Buffy image.
A movie with Spike would be awesome, and all the complaining about no Joss. As much as I whorship the guy, he didnt write a good chunk of some of the most fabulous Buffy and Angel Episodes so no worries there.
As for Illyria, bloody awesome.

oo i cant wait..theres been like no good movies so far..i used to look forward to seeing LOTR but thats over and harry potter..well the movies pretty much suck..so i need something to look forward to soo yay for spike i cant waitttt

If this ever does get done....I have a lot of questions.
Like, if they use Illyria, that means it will be post Not Fade Away...which means that some serious explaining would have to happen. Like How the crap did they get out of that alley (alive).
Most fans will want to see Angel too if that explaining was going to go down. I think that but doing a "Spike" movie would damage the chances of a big screen "Buffy/Angel" movie in the future. I would rather see the other half of the Alley fight with all cast members insted of told over a bottle of beer and cigarette in a bar... You see what I'm saying. If they're going to do it don't do it half way. Go Balls to the wall or let it be until the time is right....

If Joss Whedon isn't gonna do it, then how are they truly gonna capture Spike's essence? But I would still watch it.

I would watch anything that gets made about Spike heart exclaim I really want to know what happened in the alley or just anything else about that universe.
