Hmm.
Heres some things I investigated since you posted the new 09' dragon. (when I became interested)
First, I looked at it's parents, it's a normal breed. Meaning, that you do not have to have a specific type of dragon to make a Neglected. I also typed Neglected in google, and it means to pass over without giving attention, so maybe we get an egg, abondon it, and tell the owner to abondon it, and ask for the new owner, and so on when the last owner gets it, they just leave it alone until further notice. There are alot of expirements too, like forcing an egg out when it has a big crack, and ending up with a neglected, not did. Also, I read something on the dragon cave's forum, and it said something about the egg being cracked like a dead egg, and having a green shell. At first, I thought of Neglected Dragons to be a forgotten alternative of a sick dragon. What an odd thought though.
Hope my theory helps! :]

Hmm...I've been trying to get one,and one of my ideas is to get it LOTS AND LOTS OF CLICKS,enough to make it sick, and then....IDK what to do next....

Hi y'all! *waves* I know Vixi hasn't really been around very much lately, but I have to chime in on this. I've been doing a lot of research and I must agree with Marionetta on this one. There's just way too much evidence to support this method. There were two neglecteds created, which unfortunately died because of lack of stats, this way recently. As soon as I get another male Pygmy, two female albinos, and two male drakes I'll be devoting all my DC time to "cracking the code" so to speak to obtaining the coveted Neglected Dragon.

There's an entire thread dedicated to this on the dragcave forums. A lot of headway has been made, including the most recent: a hatchling turned neglected. It died before it could grow, though.

iZann Neglected dragons are discontinued...believe me I tried with 4 of my dragons, all four of them died as a result of being "neglected". I smashed an egg, killed 1 hatchling and 2 adults... crying Apparently you have to abandon them at 12-3am PST then readopt them or something. Look up. Someone recently made one but it died before it could grow up

That's what I heard too, that they were 'banned' because too many people were getting them. neutral But if someone acutally got one recently like bluebell_flowers said, then I guess they aren't?EDIT: 9-9-09. Nevermind. I JUST saw a neglected egg, but sadly it died. So there are still those types of dragons still out there; they're just really hard to get. . _ . Does anyone here have the Dragcave username of '0nobody0' ? ----------------------------------------------------- The egg had 606 Views 104 Unique Views 12 Clicks Chances are this isn't even close to what I'd call 'giving clues'. . _ . If the mods here think it is, please edit lower part of this post where the line is.

Data Chain "One theory for how a Sick/Neglected dragon is created is by abandoning an egg too many times (I don't know how many times specifically). It'll turn a sickly colour." "Anyways, I heard that to get a neglected dragon you have to give it softshell for a long period of time." <--Not my dragons
I tried that, it just kills them
