((OOC: Thanx! I finsihed. 13 double spaced pages *falls over dead* And now I have to do a mad dash to finish up the rest of my homework because I didn't get to any of it last night. Blegh.))
Hermione smiled, "Well I gathered that, seeign how you haven't started calling us Mudbloods and blood trators and all those other things. Don't feel bad for what Malfoy says. Honestly, Iwe're all rather used to it."
"Well I'm not going to take anymore crap from him this year," said Roan, scwoling
"How about we move to a pleasener topic?" interupted Hermione smoothly, "You're from Japan? Wow. That's quite a distance I've only ever been to France during holidays. So, do you know how you're going to be sorted, or have they done that all ready?"
"Couldn't you just look it up in Hogwarts, A History?" asked Harry with a grin.
"Becaus it's not very common and the prodecures tend to change with different Headmasters," said Hermione smoothly, 'If you read, you would know that."

Vespa stifled a laugh, "Yes well... as you can imagine... Draco's family is sincerely wanting me in Slytherin. I don't mind which house really... though I suppose with my last name I'm doomed for Slytherin. Mr. Malfoy, just before the train got here, was going on and on about how none of our family who had ever been to Hogwarts had been in a seperate house and that it was essential for me to be in Slytherin as well." she shrugged, sitting down. "Course, if I am in Slytherin, I can at least keep an eye on my cousin and hope he doesn't do anything too horrible. He's not always just talk." Vespa glanced to Ron, "Interesting pet you've got there." she spoke, speaking of the owl which was literally bouncing off the walls. "Cute though... Anyway, as far as the sorting ceremony, Mr. Malfoy said it would take place before the first years, but not in the Great Hall. I imagine I'll be joinning everyone before the first years arrive. Though... I'm not quite sure. This is all rather new and... well... vastly different than what I'm used to."

"It doesn't always happen like that. There's twins in our year and they're both in different Houses," said Hermione.
Ron smiled, "And then you have famlies like mine. Seven children all in the same House. Well, only four now. I'm not surprised Lucius Malfoy would want you to be in Slytherin. Him and his son are so obessed with blood and lineage and all that junk, but I bet you figured that out by now. That's Pig by the way," he said pointing to his hyperactive pgmy owl."
"It's only overwhelming at first, you get used to it. I love Hogwarts. And Dumbledore's fantastic, despite what I'm sure you've already been told." said Harry, "Well, I hope your in Gryffindor for one."
"So did you go to a wizarding school in Japan?' asked Hermione
"What's your Quidditch team?" asked Ron eagerly. Harry laughed

Vespa smiled, "Thanks, Harry. Actually, I've heard of Dumbledore, and yourself, before moving here and not from the Malfoy's. You're both rather famous, as you can expect." she looked to Hermione. "Yeah, I went to a wizarding school, but the difference between there and here, is that I've been in school since I was seven. I'm quite used to the long semesters. Oh, and we even had classes on Saturdays a good deal of the time, so it'll be different to have an entire two days off." her eyes lighted on Ron next, "As for Quidditch... It's not played that much in Japan. We've got a team, but they're not very good. No... I'm more for Bulgaria's team. I was rather sad when they lost at the World Cup." her eyes brightened. "Which reminds me, I did see your three there, but I was simply overly busy. Mr. Malfoy was able to get me a small job of helping the Minsitry manage the locker rooms for the athletes. I was actually helping the Bulgarian team before the match. Afterwards... well... they weren't really in the mood for the celebratory feast we had cooked up."

Harry frowned, the images of that nigh replaying in his head. "Yeah, I'll bet," he muttered.
Hermione kicked Ron, who looked as if he was about to say something in regards to the World Cup, and likely not complementary. So all the redhead said insteed was, "You got to go into the Bulgarian locker rooms? That's bloody brillant, Vespa."
Hermione rolled her eyes. Quidditch. She just didn't get it.
"Wow, since seven? That's quite a difference isn't it? You must have some excellent wizards in Japan, with schooling starting so early.Have you choosen your extra classes yet. What year are you in, anyway?" she said, eager to get back on a topic she was actually intrested in.

(((OOC: Dude! I got some sweet shirts from HotTopic today! One is a Slytherin Girls' Tee, the other is a Death Eaters T-Shirt and matching wristband. But... I'm making a freakin awesome Lucius Shirt for the movie tomorrow, so that'll be what I wear. Tonight though... It's Slytherin all the way!)))

Vespa laughed, "It was really great, Ron. I got to meet Viktor Krum and everything. Really nice guy, but he doesn't talk much. But their poor Veela's looked like they got beat up pretty hard. I heard a fight broke out, but I wasn't there at the time, though I did see the end of the game."
She turned her attention to Hermione's question next. "Well no, not great wizards, but decent enough. We start earlier because we learn all the basics before ever getting a wand. I didn't get a wand til I was eleven, like you guys. Oh, and I would be considered a fourth year at Hogwarts, same as my cousin. He's only five days older than me, actually."
To Harry's comment however, Vespa turned her gaze on him. "I think I know what you're referring to. Who wouldn't if they were there? All I can honestly remember, was it was the dead of night and Mrs. Malfoy and I were together on the edge of the woods. I didn't know where Draco or his father went however." she shuddered slightly, "Horrible thing to have happened at such a fun event."

((OOC: So..ungodly..hyper. Everyone wtahc out tommorow. I started kissing and stoking a pic of Harry today. Yeah, that got me some wierd loks. Harry, Harry Harry Harry Harry...))
Harry shrugged but the trolley lady came around before he came up with a reply. He bought a handful of Pumpkin Pasties and tossed a couple to Roan and Hermione.
"Want one?" he asked, handing a pasty out to her.
Outside their compartment he heard Neville, Seamus and Dean excitedly talking abou the match and showing of their souviners (or in Neville's case, lacktherof). Hermione raised an eyebrow, "I didn't stop the excitment, that's for sure."
Ron and Harry just looked at her. "Well, it was the World Cup," the youngest Weasly brother said, as if offended.

Vespa shook her head, "No thanks... I'm not quite used to the deserts and treats here. They're a bit odd, no offense." she smiled, "But no, it actually made things more exciting... though I feel bad for the Ministry. They worked so hard on it. I remember Mr. Malfoy talking about how the Ministry was working nonstop for a few months simply to get the World Cup off the ground. I don't envy them their jobs, that's for sure." her smile fell on Ron, "And think of it this way, you three DID get to see one of the best Quidditch matches I've ever heard about. The noise though was deafening. Makes me wonder how any muggle could miss it."

"Well there had already been precautions for the Cup already, of course, so really all it came down to was modifing the memories of the poor muggles that got caught by the people in masks," said Hermione.
"You mean the Death Eaters,'said Harry cooly.
"Yes, well, them. Thank goodness ther wasn't any lasting damage. No one died, I really wouldn't have envied the Ministry's job at trying to calm a death down."

Vespa went silent for a minute, deep in thought. "You know..." she spoke softly, her eyes starring out the train window. "You know, I think it was all handled very well, given the circumstances. What I can't figure out is who..." and at this the girl's eyes went to Harry. "Who conjured the dark mark?"

Harry met her gaze, "I have no idea. None of us saw him, we just heard this deep voice, but when the Ministry found us, the only person they discovered was Mr Crouches House Elf, Winky, with the wand that had cast the Mark."
"And so Crouch just got rid of her, even there was no way she could have done it and everyone knew it," Hermione huffed angerily
"It was wierd; all the Death Eaters just scattered after it was fired," said Ron thoughtfully.

Yes, she knew Lucius Malfoy's dark secret, but the thought of him running from that whisp of smoke and cloud...
It confused her to say the least.
"They're Voldemort supporters, aren't they? Wouldn't they have been happy?"
Now that Vespa recalled, the next day, Draco's father had been particularly testy.

((OOC: Tee-hee. Bad Lucius. I was angry, too. An OHMYGOD! Voldemort was super sadistic. I was like O.o through that scence. I love that scene sooo much. And I love you Cedric 8cries* I was actually tearing up. I'm such an obsessive dork))
Harry looked at Vespa curiously, as Ron and Hermione winced. She had said Voldemort's name. Harry could count the number of people who didn't flinch at the Dark Lord's name on his hand.
Ron shrugged, "My brother Bill reckons its because the Death Eaters told so many lies about their support of You-Know-Who to avoid going to Azkaban and You-Know-Who wasn't going to be exactly pleased with what they've done."

(((OOC: Finnes did a bang up job as Voldemort. I nearly lost it and started crying when um... well... when they got back and the band was playing but... well... you know... I soooo nearly lost it. But Lucius just gave this... it was this smirk of sheer satisfaction that made me want to attack him then and there. And omg! When he got Harry's attention with his cane... I was like 0.0 eek He was bloody wonderful in that scene. Movie needed more of Draco though. A LOT more of Draco. HP fans won't be pleased with that.)))

She wanted to get her mind off of the events of the tournament and off of her summer experiences. Somehow though, she had the feeling that it was far from over.

((OOC: My friend that went with me. Lucius was such a SOB! Yeah Voldemort was just soo..God I love the graveyard scene soo much! That whole thing about "I want to see the light leave you eyes.." just everything he said I was like HoDamn. So creey crazy. And he looked great! I mean so many fanart has him and his flat nose and slit nostils and they just look..idiotic and comical..but good lord he was sooo creey and sadistic and eveil and...I loved him!!! And poor Harry. I mean seriously that kid neds some theropy. But I just started tearing up when he came back was crying and I was just....
Yeah. But the Ferret scene was great. The enire theater was laughing and applauding. It was awesome.))
Harry smiled and shrugged, "There's not much to tell. Nothing that isn't known by everyone else at least. I can't wait for Quidditch to start up again, though. I want to try out some of the Irish and Bulgarian's moves."
Ron laughed, "Definatly. If you could pull off a feint at a match. My teanm's teh Chudley Cannons. Ninth in teh league. Pity they didn't get a chance to play. Or England for that matter."
"Oh God, you're not going to make this enitre train ride a Quidditch conversation now, are you?" said Hermione, rolling her eyes, "It's just a game."
Harry and Ron just looked at her and shook their heads.
"Sorry, 'Mione," said Ron, but I'd take Quidditch over a book any day of the week."
