A little irritated, like a mother to an irate child, she lifted the length of his wooden arm into the air so he hung awkwardly. He didn't appear so, but he was quite light. She tapped his fist firmly against the ground so he stuttered down, like a nail being hammered on until he had his normal arm back, slunk a little rattled on the ground.
"Business first," she said sternly, "I promise I'll go with you to the amusement park once we find Mikou."

--------------------------------------- LEO - X I... got... some... Wood! I listen, I learn, I do it right... with no questions asked.
Leo sighed "Fine... back to the ship I guess." he said with a smile still on his face. Yet it was a much duller smile, with his teeth not showing and no sparkle in his eyes. Anyone could tell he was saddened by her words.

"Not that either!" Lamia said quickly, "I need you to stay close. Remember, there's people all over the archipelago who'd love to sell us. We need to stick together."
She took his hand and led him along, like a little boy. Time to find the coater.

Two men stepped out from among the trees, standing in front of Lamia and Leo. They were dressed in tailored pinstriped suits and sunglasses. "Excuse me, miss, but this is a private area. Please leave. If you do not, you will be arrested. You have until the count of ten."
The other man grinned. "onetwothreefourfivesixseveneightnineten!" He grabbed Lamia while the first man grabbed at Leo. "We'll see how well you do against us, little boy!"
The man who had grabbed Lamia withdrew a collar from his jacket and clamped it around her neck. Just before she passed out he said something. "Gods bless Seastone collars."

A ferry, at first the tiniest dot on the horizon, came slowly into focus as it approached the archipelago. The passengers, bustling amongst themselves as they walked down the gangplank. One, hanging back, fiddled with a long, violet silk coat, with expensive emerald buttons. She wore a matching hat, pointed with a wide brim, and velour gloves and suede boots, giving off the immpeccable wealth and style. With a straight back and a dignified walk, she sauntered down the aisle, acting very much like she owned the place. At her waist, underneath the coat, three small figures the size of keychains clicked against each other.
Looking out from under the brim of her hat, she looked towards a high walled estate. The iron wrought gates had the name Strega Borgia bold across the opening. Gripping a large bag, Alix smirked.
"Time to do business."
(Just for a note, Alix likes to "do business" with folks by offering up special wares to make slave capture easier. She's a business witch!)

--------------------------------------- LEO - X I... got... some... Wood! I listen, I learn, I do it right... with no questions asked.
Leo's hand went into a spear shape as he swung it at the throat of his asailant. He knew he had to save Lamia and would not go down without a fight. He was thinking fast as he made his leg grow into the shape of a root, with a drill on the end of it and sunk it into the ground. It split into many different roots and it shot up from under the ground at both of the Men, to wrap around there Legs and Arms.

Both men's faces remained impassive in the face of the attack. The man going for Leo grabbed him as the wooden spear skittered across his throat, ripping the skin and revealing the metal underneath. "You thought it'd be that easy, boy?"
The man withdrew a collar from his chest, revealed to be a mere cavern, and clamped it around Leo's neck. The Seastones immediately went into effect.
Behind them the man with Lamia in his arms had leaped at least fifty feet up into the air to avoid the questing roots, metal springs unfolding from his legs before an accordion'd arm reached out and grabbed the side of one of the giant trees. Spikes extended from his boots that dug into the bark of the tree, and he started to take gigantic steps towards a distant building.
---------------------
The gates swung open silently, and Don Alphonse Strega-Borgia greeted his 'guest,' a piece of wood as malleable as paper in his hands being folded into an Origami man as he did so. As the gates closed behind them his strange halting method of speech disappeared. "Welcome to my humble house. I trust that you have brought negotiating materials? It would be a pity to think that you have come... unsupported." With the last word he tapped the finished figure in his hands with a finger that seemed to have sprouted a pair of scissors from the tip and it somehow changed quality, becoming just as rigid as before, yet holding the intricate shape. A moment later the head hit the dirt and the scissors sank back into Alphonse's wrist.

"But of course," purred Alix, "It'd be much harder for your, ah...employment agency, to work without them."
She opened the bag, and began setting things out. They seemed incosequential, like small jars and vials. But of course, Strega knew better. "Fresh from the vat," she wiggled one of the smallest vials, "A kind of serum that leaves the drinker obedient to any command...for twelve hours tops. By that time they should be settled with someone, or properly stowed I would think."
They drank tea throughout the sales, the leaves settling soggily at the bottom. As Alix drained her own cup, she offered up one of her usual nasty smiles at Strega.
"Shall I read them for you?"

Leo was suddenly unable to do anything. He struggled but couldn't. He stopped smiling again, as his eyes turned blood shot and he yelled into the air. He was using what is known as Giant Roar(As he yells into the air, it vibrates the ear drum and will blow it up or sometimes even knowck the opponent unconious). It was something he'd never done so it was well over powered and would probably kill someone, by exploiding their brain.

Daron "Art" Hinkel Daron sat on a stool next to a Target shooting booth. He had already won a giant stuff panda, which was sitting next to his chair. He picked his teeth with a tooth pick, as he finished a plate of roosted duck, that his First Mate had picked up for him. He had them go get their ship ready for travel to the Fishman Island, since it was already painted, by himself. He got up and stretched, as he yawned, before walking over to a Tea place. It was only a few steps away, but he sat down as if it had been hundreds of yards away and it had been a long walk to get there. He sat there and ordered a glass of Black Tea, with sugar. He was waiting for news on Why the Black Dragoons were on the Island... He was hoping the Newspaper was truthful and that Matsu was no longer a Warlord of the sea and was now on the side of Pirates. He'd hate to fight him today. he thought to himself.

Both men touched an arm to the side of their heads and their ears swiveled and became patches of slightly pale skin, flush with their skulls. "The boss knows what he's up against."
---------------------
Alphonse shook his head. "You know I set no stock by such unenlightened methods. Besides, how could the dregs of shredded leaves soaked in water possibly know the future? It makes no sense." Alphonse prided himself on not being overly-superstitious, insofar as that was possible in an environment that saw walking fishes and men made of metal. Tea leaves had never been particularly interesting.

Leo may have had a shackle around his neck, but it did not deny him of his pure brutal strength. He roared again, this time louder, hoping Matsu, Myra and maybe even Turner would hear. He hoped they'd figure out he was in trouble. He picked up the people holding his arms in each hand and threw them. He felt a new sense of strenght as he did, like a different type of blood was running through his veins.

((OK, I hate to bring this up, but a DF user in contact with Seastone loses all strength whatsoever. Claiming that your RPC, a boy who's not yet passed 16 years of age, can still pick up and throw a man who weighs half a ton even though he's got a collar that should by rights weaken him so much that he can't even stand is very, very close to godmodding.))

Alix shrugged, "Call it a complementary service," she said, taking his cup. Turning it smartly so the handle rested on her thumb, she looked, and concentrated. "A pattern," she murmured thoughtfully, "Repetition, and force..."
She set the cup back down. From underneath the witch hat, her eyes glowed with mystique. "You'll be in a fair group of giants," she said, "And many things will be eager to pass you by with haste. My advice...would be to lay low, and take a firm grip of everything you find even of meager importance."
The words probably didn't make much sense to Strega, but Alix didn't care. It was the nature of a witch to obsess over the details and speak in riddles. In any case, she was perfectly content to be paid.
She left his house, purse heavier with money and bag lighter. Utterly pleased with the business transaction, she strolled right into a nearby tea shop, attracting attention with her mysterious outfit. Taking off the violet coat in the warmth of the tea shop, she ignored the attention of the waiter and made her order for tea. Her dress underneath matched her ensemble, a royal purple with a beaded v-neck. Her perfume stood out, even with the smell of tea.
But she was even more delighted to see a panda doll. Any doll or anything having to do with dolls made her excited. She strolled unabashed to the man at the table with the panda doll, speaking cooly and suavely.
"It's good to see a man with such a passion for dolls,"
