Faust smiled a bit as she walked in, and he heard her stomach growl.
Without pausing, he took the bag with the steak skewers in it, and moved it over to a table, where he took out a plate, and then removed the meat from the skewers, placing it on a plate as he put the bits of steak in the microwave to warm it up.
As he started it, he heard Chie ask him if he was okay. He paused, before turning to her.
"I'm fine." he called, lightly. "I cried most of it out last night. I'm still upset about it, but I'll manage."
In truth, he was still hurting about the whole incident. It really reminded him of how 'un-man' like he was, the way Kanji spoke to him about it.

Faust paused again, as he heard Chie apologizing for Kanji's words last night. He started to think back a bit, and realized that he hadn't been insulting him. Well, for the most part it was easy to see it wasn't. Some parts were a little harder to tell from others, but he smiled anyways.
"It's okay." he called, lightly as the microwave went off, and he pulled out the plate, taking two skewers, as he moved over to Chie, handing her one.
"Here, split this with me." he called, smiling. "There's no way I can finish this on my own."

Faust smiled, as he moved the plate over to the counter, so he wouldn't have to hold it as they ate. Chie seemed pretty happy that she was getting breakfast, although that smile could have been something else.
"Thanks for coming by Chie." he called, lightly as he speared a piece of meat as well, eating it. He was glad indeed she came. It made him feel better to have someone to talk to about it. Someone who wouldn't harp on him to 'be a man' and 'toughen up'

Faust grinned, as the two of them finished off the steak bits in record time.
Afterwards, Faust grabbed his stuff off the table.
"Shall we get to school then?" he called, lightly.

Faust made his way home, smiling about all that had happened that day. All of his friends and the like, and the new number in his phone.
He was tired, so he went to his room, and collapsed on the bed, tired.

Faust made his way to his house, noticing that there wasn't that much space between his and Kusuri's. 2 or three houses between them. He slid open the door, and stepped inside, noting his mother wasn't home...again.
His mind briefly went back to the previous incident with Kusuri's dad, and he sighed.
He missed his mom. He shrugged the depression off as he started up the stairs, and entered his room, laying his stuff down, and crawling into his bed as he fell asleep.

Kusuri exited her house, and moved down the street, two buildings. This is where he said he lived, right?
She hesitated to knock on the door, not wanting to seem like she was anything she wasn't.
Luckily for her, another girl had arrived. Someone she recognized.
"Satonaka-san." Kusuri called, nearly jumping out of her skin as she saw her. "U-umm..what are you doing here?"
Chie looked at Kusuri, finding it funny how she was so nervous.
"I figured I could hang out with Faust-kun today." She called, lightly. "What about you?"
Kusuri scowled.
"So, this is where he lives?" she called, turning. "figures.."
Chie shrugged, and knocked on the door. Kusuri had started to walk away, very slowly, until she heard the door open.
However, it wasn't the person she was looking for. Rather, it was the woman with long black hair that she recognized as Faust's mother.
"Yes?" she called, seeing the two girls. Something about her seemed...off.
A bit uneasy.
"We came to see Faust-kun." Chie called. Kusuri turned, frowning lightly. what was with this 'we' stuff? If she kept this up..
"I'm sorry, but he's not here.." His mother called, a lot of worry in her face. Chie and Kusuri froze.
"Not here?" The two called in unison. Faust's mother nodded.
"Yes." she called. "I haven't seen him since the trip. I had to work a late shift, so I couldn't see him when he got back, and he was gone before I got up, and he didn't leave me a note or anything."
Chie took all this in. She knew what it meant. Kusuri took it in too, although she had no idea what it truly meant.
"If you see him, let me know, okay?" Faust's mother called, a little weary. Chie nodded.
"Sure thing Necromonium-san." she called, lightly. Faust's mother smiled, as she closed the door. Chie turned to Kusuri.
"Well, I'm going to go look for Faust." she called, in a light tone. "It was nice seeing you Keiraku-san."
Kusuri waved a bit, as she started off. Faust, not at home? Surely he was at Junes or something, right? Maybe at the diner, or somewhere else. No big deal....
Chie started off, pulling out her phone as she started up a text.
