Mara heard the bell and ran out of the infirmary before summoning a large tiger. She jumped on to it's back and it carried her to class. She'd never been late before so this was a first for the teacher.

Now he knew he heard the sounds of a spell being cast nearby, instinctivly his hands flexed and a few words of a spell were at his lips. He stopped himself before he actually sent the spell off but he was worried about his own reaction.

Nurse Ivory took a mental note of the actions by the patient. She found herself amused by him, and instantly making him her new subject of observation. "For the time being we'll have to give you a name until you can remember your real one." She told him more than suggested, hoping to receive a different reaction from him.

His eyes shifted back to hers as she spoke and he nodded very slightly. It frustrated as well as worried him that he couldnt even remember something so simple as his name. He looked at her expentactly for a moment trying to think of something suitable to use as a name for now.

Alex shut the heavy tome he had been perusing through with a dusty thump. The old copy of Dark Magiks and Their Defenses lay silent on the table, the cloud of dust slowly settling on it. Alex sat there for a few more moments, perusing something, before getting up and waving his left hand, causing all the curtains to fly open in the room, filling it with the warm glow of morning light. Without another word, Alex briskly walked to the door, and got out.

When Mara got to class she hops off the tiger and dismisses it. She tries to sneak in but is caught by the teacher who says, "Mara? Your late." She turns to the teacher and say, "I'm sorry teacher. I got preoccupied." She walks over to her desk and sits down. "Well don't let it happen again."

He shook his head for a moment before muttering a few strang intelligable words. But as he rose back up he didnt seem to be aware that he had done so. "Lerista?.....that will be my name for now."

Allenshai looked up from the text book, watching as a classmate came in, late. It was an odd thing to see, she knew that Mara never came in late, so why now? 'Hmm.. I wonder if it had anything to do with that strange man from earlier...' Her stomach churned with anxiety and confusion, she really wanted to know why Mara had been late but she didn't want to ask, didn't want to sound nosy or rude.
Terezin had glared at the teacher when he said his name wrong, the teacher had to do it on purpose, he said nothing the entire class, just taking the notes and doing the work that was set out for them, no complaints. 'I bet she's sucking up to the teacher already..' Terezin thought, referring to his younger sister. She always had the perfect grades and such, never got in trouble. It annoyed him how the teachers compared the siblings to eachother, always making it seem like he was the one to blame for anything that went wrong.

As the class continued Mara was listening to every word the teacher was saying. She was happy that she hadn't got in to much trouble for being late, but she was still glad she went to see the stranger.

Lerista felt that strange pulse again and his eyes shifted around the room seeming to take it all in yet somehow not seeing it at all. A memory had hit him, and hit him hard. He muttered in some strange tongue the only words decipherable being "the flame" then as he finishes he looks back at her as if nothing had even happened. "Is that a good idea for a name?"

One of the other teachers came in looking worred. "We just had a student get caught in the Necro vats again. We are gonna need something to drain it out of his system. As they left Lerista stood up out of the bed and walked out into the hall. He started to wander the halls in wonder.

As always Mara was excelling in Magical beasts, but unlike normal she came close to messing up the daily spell. However she quickly recovered and stabilized the spell.

This place looked somehow familiar to Lerista but he had no idea from where. He could sense the spirits wandering the halls and was blind to all else. he eventually went to a wall and leaned against it. Lowering his head his mind wandered off.
