If you watched the Mario Bros movie wink Daisy's father was turned into a mushroom through the process of the de-evolution machine.
A quick note, I'm a neo-Creationist Christian whom, though believe evolution does occure, humans were created as humans and never came from lower life forms, so...yeah. It'll explain a few things I say from time to time ninja
Apparently, some dino-man (Bowser) created this uber-fictional device that de-evolved people to become his henchmen into goombas.

I saw a a mario movie when I was really young and there was a devolution machine and it made the peoples heads tiny or it could make them evolve to become smarter and it always was thought when you were put in the machine and made into these weird darkskinned people but that wasn't always the case but it was odd and I was really young wasn't even 10 probably

my favorite character is mario. hands down. not only because i like to use him for all of the games, mario kart, mario tennis, super smash bros, melee and all of the upcoming games. but because w/o mario, i think that nintendo wouldnt really be as big as it is today.

Nintendo wouldn't be as good without Mario; if they didn't have them they would have gone bankrupt long ago and is keeping them alive even now

I like Link more due to the general RPG-ness of his gaming franchise. I like Mario a lot because he fits a lot of genres very well. Mario is Nintendo's symbol, but Link is one of their primary mainstays. Nintendo will never be without the top five.

Fire Emblem
In recent years, Kirby and Pokemon have also been added as primaries.

But I also am loyal to Yoshi. No body likes him either? sad
if my friend Nick was here, he would slap me. Cuz I'm leaving us out. sweatdrop
My nickname was Zelda and his was Link.... we also went by Amy and Sonic! heart It was funny cuz our friend Tony was always Ganon or Shadow when we played those games.

ninja Just a recommendation that may put your parents minds at ease. Nicknames are fine, but I kinda recommend leaving IRL names out of forums. These forums aren't hidden, so anybody can come in and read what's written. Thank-you wink
I thought Diddy's little miss went by a different name eek
Yoshi's a fun little...thing for some video games. S/He/It's (read: He, She, or It has) been around for a while.

1. Samus Aran (Am currently playing through Metroid 2 on the GameBoy)
2. Link (The grown-up one from Ocarina/Twilight Princess)
3. Yoshi (Yoshi's Island 2 out this year!!)
4. Princess Zelda (She kicks in Melee)
5. Mario (Dependable, always race with him in Mario Kart DS)
