Not true. Bold claim, but a jump like that would mean that training existed to "convert" older programmers. But since we're on it, Intel has been rocking the s**t out of the processor world, and the shift isn't going to Cell style architecture, but to t eliminating the North Bridge, which is a lot closer to something that consoles need (simpler hardware). The Cell (or its successor) will NOT catch on for multiple consoles because it performs best at singular, specific applications where the SPEs can run without having to change processes...EVER.
