Quinn laughed. "I don't know. I've changed some, you know," He shifted so he was much closer to the other man, snaking one leg around one of Writ's.
Quinn heard, for the first time, Quetzalcoatl's voice, and it startled him.
A little dog told me that you should go for the ears, Quinn. Mr. Q?
No response. Quinn sighed inwardly, but snaked his leg all the way around the godling's, one hand slipping to an ear, rubbing it and scratching behind it.
"I've gotten better at some things, you know. Stronger, faster..." He leaned closer into Writ, putting their faces close together, turning his sideways to open it up for a kiss. "Much, much better at a few...particular things."

A little squeak came out from the back of Writ's throat, followed by a low growl. He tilted his head up as he felt his ears being caressed by Quinn. There was a tingling in his skull that made him feel nice and lightheaded. At least, more lightheaded then he was now. Writ was a schizo drunk, bouncing back and forth between depression and joy, and right now, everything was pretty good.
Writ tilted his head forward a little to look at Quinn.
"Waita-"
And Quinn's lips were on his.

Driven by what he saw as an invitation when Writ's lips came in contact with his, he fully pulled himself on top of Writ, wrapping his arms around the godling and shifting his weight to knock them over into a laying position on the bed. He grinned at the godling, and kissed him again.
"Drunk enough yet?" He turned his head a bit sideways. "Or do I need to get you another glass?"

"I'm alright." Writ said, a little flustered. That felt kinda good. His wine-quenched mind couldn't wrap itself around the inward confusion, but right now, it didn't matter.
"Ah, ******** it, why not?"
Whatever happens in this house stays in this house, right?
******PG-13!*******
It was about one in the afternoon when Writ woke up feeling like someone smashed a brick over his skull. He lifted the sheets. It wasn't that bad. He half expected that to be rainbow colored too, but it seemed that even gods had their limits on what they did to their godlings. He slipped out of bed-- It took a breeze around his thighs and a look down to realize that he was naked, but he thought nothing of it. His pounding hangover acted up, so he wandered to the kitchen in search of coffee, his hand clasped firmly onto his skull.
"Coffeeeeeee...." Writ mumbled. He sounded like he just got up from his grave.
Eventually, he found the coffee maker, and after some invasive scrounging through the cabinets for filters and actual coffee beans, he put the mess in the maker and commenced the mindless staring at the pot as it filled. After a few minutes, he was sipping his daily brew in a Garfield mug.
Just for it to be spat out in a messy stream of French roast and shocked realization.
Writ screamed. A wave of mixed emotions and what-ifs crashed down on his already aching head. His scream turned into an awkward yell as he went through the hallway, and back to Quinn's room. He spied an empty bag of wine hanging limply from it's box.
"Oh gods. " Writ panted, "Oh gods. Oh s**t. Oh gods. What the hell did I do last night?"

Quinn's sleeping form didn't notice Writ getting up. Quinn had no intention of removing himself from the bed. His arms were tightly clamped around a pillow, and Writ's disturbance merely made him shift a little in place.
However, once the yelling started, one eye started creeping open.
Quinn was not in happy mode. Being yelled awake was not his idea of the perfect morning after.
"What didn't you do?" he snarked, flowery happy rainbow Quinn replaced with much bitchier morning Quinn. "Now, get back in bed, and we can sleep for a while longer. Just wait for your head to calm down, you'll remember soon. It was fun." He closed his eyes again and rolled over so he was face down into the pillow.

Writ got the hint instantly.
"Really? Really?" He was obviously flabbergasted about the whole thing, "Quinn, I like you, we're practically brothers, but I was drunk and I didn't know what I was thinking..." Writ really didn't know where he was going with this. This was one of those rare times where he honestly didn't know what to say.
Apparently Quinn wasn't a morning person. Which made sense, considering that the kid was practically powered by espresso. Though seeing a grumpy Quinn was rather amusing. Writ took a deep breath, and let out a "I'mgonnagetsomecoffee."
He took off to the kitchen and filled two mugs before going back to the bedroom. Writ put a mug on Quinn's endtable and sat up on the bed with his own mug.
"I guess this is what they mean by the 'Greek Hero Thing'." He mumbled.

"You know," Quinn mumbled, "That line would have been clever. Except, neither of us is Greek. And 'Hero' is not a term I would use to describe either of us. But," He reached up and snatched the mug, taking a few huge gulps before setting it back down, "We do now have a 'thing'."
Quinn looked triumphant. Grumpy, but triumphant. He wriggled over so that he was closer to Writ on the edge of the bed, lifting his head for a moment then sliding to put his head down on Writ's lap.
"Now. You are going to lie down and we are going to sleep for a few minutes. Or I'll hurt you. Your choice."

"Fish's saying, not mine." Writ sipped his coffee.
The caffeine, it does nothing! He frowned. The coffee wasn't helping at all. It didn't calm his nerves nor did it cure his hangover.
The man let out an exasperated sigh and huffed out a "Fine." before crawling into bed. He made a point of shifting his shape before getting under the covers. Writ laid on his pillow as a coyote pup. It was the only way he could insure Quinn wouldn't do anything funny as he slept.

"Yeah, but it's different, because Fish is Greek." Quinn decided to let Writ's dismissal of their new 'thing' go undefied, for now. His eyes were still closed, but he opened it in time to see a coyote pup crawl up on the pillow next to him instead of Writ.
He also felt a prickling in the back of his nose.
"Aww, but it's so much warmer and easier to cuddle with you if you're in human form, Writ!" He poked at the coyote.
The itch in his nose got a bit greater. He rubbed at it.
"C'mon, pleeeeease?"
The itch got unbearable, and his head snapped back into a violent sneeze.
"Ugh. That was painful. I hate sneezes like that. At least it's finis--" He sneezed again.
"Ow. Why am I sneezing?"
Another one.
"Shouldn't have inhaled. Dang it."
Once more, with feeling.
"Make it stop!"

Writ blew out some air from his muzzle. Ha! Take that! That's what you get for taking my job! If coyotes could smile, Writ would've. He inched his way closer to Quinn's face. Letting out a playful squeak. Writ was apparently enjoying this. There was nothing like the satisfaction of revenge along with the fledgling mindset of a puppy to keep Writ's mind off his hangover.

"No! Get back! Bad dog!" He sneezed again, and shoved the puppy off of the bed, rolling off in the opposite direction.
"Change back! Now!" He pointed at Writ. "Change now or I will poison you, electrocute you, and blind you all at once."
He sneezed again.
"This is so horribly, awfullly uncomfortable. Fix it!"

Writ rolled off the bed and turned to Quinn.
Oh gods. Writ knew exactly how to make Quinn feel horrible. He made a small, whining sound on the back of his throat, his ears drooped down, his little beady eyes were wide and shining.
Puppy Writ looked like he was going to cry.

Quinn was conflicted. It was a cute, small animal that was sad. But it was also an evil, conniving, allergenic, cute, small animal that was sad.
"No! I'm not falling for it! Little punk." he took the mug of coffee writ had been drinking before, and upturned it over the dog, letting the warm coffee dump onto it.
Somewhere, a carpet cleaner felt a disturbance in the force.
"Change back. You'll need a shower, now."

That only made Writ even more adorable. Now he was a sad, wet puppy. His soaked fur made him look droopy. He shook himself clean and got coffee all over the carpet. He looked at Quinn with his big eyes again, putting on the sparkles this time. Writ looked expectant, egging Quinn on to cuddle him.
Any dog could be an evil little furball. But only Writ can go about being clever about it.

Quinn glared at him.
No one uses cute tactics but me, dammit.
"Alright, the. You're just going to have to leave." His resolve strengthened, he leaned down and picked up the dog. He sneezed, but held a steady pace towards his front door. He used one hand to yank the door open, and tossed Writ outside.
"Bye, puppy. Have a good-achoo-day."
He spun on his heel and headed towards his room.
