Chigaru, where I am from, we have the heat for most of the year and then when that stops- we get the artic storms. It is not a nice place to life, but we thrive under that pressure."

Wamu looked that the girl. See was leaning against the wall reading his book, The Anubus Scroll. Wamu bit his tongue and walked over the the girl. He took the book out of her hands and closed it loudly. Wamu slowly placed the book back in his bag.

"If I ever catch you reading that book again, I will have your liver for lunch."

Like lightening, Wamu flicked his arm back in front of his body and held it against the girl. He had one of his Deer Horn Knieves in his hand. Wamu was not appling enough pressure to break the skin,but enough to leave a mark. He glared into her eyes and then into the eyes of Edouard. It seemed as though fate had directed the three together. He put his knief away and took a few steps back.

"I don't know if this is a good idea, but I don't think I would be able to team up with anyone else around here but you two. So what do you guys say? Team up or go our own ways?"

Wamu could not contain his laughter.

"You would not know a fantastic hunter, if they came up and bit you on the bum. What is the largest thing you have ever tracked and killed?"

Wamu shifted his bag slightly on his back. Now, Rufus' skull was over the top of his bag and out for everyone to see.

Wamu looked at the picture of the beast and a small grin came across his face.

"Why would you hunt a Malboro. Those things have disgusting meat and useless pelt. Now, a Trophant is more of a challenge. Just trying to get one alone is half the battle. And as for being a thief, that line of work is a last resort of me. I would never ever do it. I have never had to. We Anubite's are simple folk."

Wamu looked around the area, as if something dangerous was coming from the west.

Wamu tired to listen in on the sounds, but was having trouble what with Styx constant talking. He turned to her and glared.

"I would have a better idea, if you ever shut up!"

Wamu looked over at Edouard, who had gone really quiet.

"Do you think you could atleast get ready to defend yourself? What ever that thing over there is, I doubt it will be friendly!"

"Why not? If I saw some sort of fight going on, I would call on something to stop it. And that is what I think has happened here!"

Wamu pulled out his Deer Horn Knieves and readied himself for anything.

With out turning from the distant rumbling, Wamu knew what the others where doing.

"I guess in about 5 minutes, a large steel vehicle will be here. I am not going to be around when it does. I susgest we run, NOW!"

Wamu turned and started to run in the opposite direction to the noise, hoping that it would lead them somewhere safer.

"Hey Styx come with me."

Edouard slowly got up and began to walk back down the alley way the way he came from. Coming to a large metal door edouard quickly typed in a code into the lock. The door opened slowly and a silvery looking 4x4 vehicle could be seen .

"What do ya think wanna ride?"

Edouard walked up to the door opening it with a click before jumping in and inserting the key into the ignition. Turning it the vehicle kicked into life.
