I can't wait! I love to travel and I will most definitely take tons of pictures.
My idea of depressing weather is the kind that is typical for the area I live in. It's almost always damp, cold and overcast. Most days it rains...it's not often we see the sun out here. When we do, it's a treat and will last for 3-4 days at best. That is, before the weather reverts back to the dreary-ness for weeks-months at a time with maybe a small handful of sunny days at it's best. Our summers are pretty short too. Ours is almost over I think. 3/4 of the year is the rainy season here. Oh! Did you know that Washington is one of the highest rated states for suicides? The reason? The Constant Gloomy Weather. No joke what-so-ever.

*nods* I've heard about that statistic. As Floridians, we don't realize how lucky we are with all the sunny weather. When we move somewhere such as the place you live currently, we HAVE to be outdoors and try to get as much sunlight as possible. Though sometimes, the sun here is TOO bright and especially like now TOO HOT!

Personally, I hate the temperature in Florida. Wayyy too hot for my tastes. I don't like the sun much. I love the night time, not the day time. I hate the heat more than I do the cold. I would rather turn into a meat popsicle than be grilled alive. I've always liked the cold more than the heat. Even though I shiver a lot. I would just prefer the cold more than the heat.
I guess that's why I like the Spring the best, not too hot and not too cold. Just perfect. <3
I like it here in good ol' Pennsylvania. <3Infinite in mystery is the gift of the goddess We seek it thus, and take it to the sky Ripples form on the water's surface The wandering soul knows no rest

Yeah, it's sad here. I would prefer tropical or at least a healthy balance in the weather. That's why I will always love Michigan. (born and raised there) I just miss experiencing all four seasons and storms. I feel so alive when there's a good thunder storm going on.
I can relate to how you feel about the night Pistl. I feel so much more awake and aware at night. I love the calm it gives me. The air is so much more different at night. It's crisp and electric to me.

Yeah, I know the feeling. The perfect night would be a spring night, with the slight smell of rain lingering in the air and a gentle cool night breeze. <3 Just so invigorating. <3Infinite in mystery is the gift of the goddess We seek it thus, and take it to the sky Ripples form on the water's surface The wandering soul knows no rest

*imagines that spring night*
Ah...that is one of the best. I also love the night after a storm.
~~~~Blog time/thinking
So it's really strange...but I keep getting this feeling. Like this constant nag at the back of my consciousness. I keep having these dreams where I see myself in a tattoo parlor with my family getting a tattoo put on my back. It's always from an above, but off to the side sort of view point. After searching through images and meditating on it, I've discovered that the tat I keep seeing myself getting is those of angel wings. As far as tattoos go though, it was always something I thought to myself, "hm...interesting, but I'm not so sure it's for me." Now all of a sudden, and completely un-provoked (as to my knowledge) it's constantly at the back of my mind. I began to wonder if perhaps I should. I wonder if there is some strong significance to my doing so. I can also say that in my mind I see this happening while on my trip back home that's coming up soon. Now I am on a quest to understand this. Am I making any sense?
You're making sense, but that's as baffling to understand to us as it is to you. As an ex-wannabe shrink (lol) you haven't been home since you're bird died correct? Maybe you loved him more than you ever imagined. Sorry to bring up Vitto though, but I think that might be it.
Hmm...that's a thought, but I only actually kept him for 2 years max and hadn't had him/seen him in almost 3 years. It did make me cry and sad for the rest of that day that he died. Don't be sorry for bringing it up. I'm not sad anymore. I'm ok now and have let go. He would actually be the third one I've had that has passed away. So, I'm not sure that's it. Especially since I was much more attached to Tye and had him for much longer and I was around for it. I keep seeing angel wings which hold special meaning to me. I keep debating on if I should get the tat. Ray found a lovely pair online that really hit home when I saw them. It was funny since I was just telling him about the dream and wasn't interested in getting them and he randomly went and did a search for wings.
I was thinking on it and meditating when I went to the tanning salon today. I wonder if it's symbolic for the changes I've been making in myself inside and out. Sorta like I'm letting go of all the things that brought me down and bettering myself. Like I'm finally free of the things that had been weighing on my heart and mind. Just personal stuff really that had to deal with me and me alone. Inner things.
I'm almost thinking I may go through with it. Heaven knows how special wings are to me. heart
Heehee, well I haven't been noticing you bettering yourself since you're always the best person you can be around here =] And that's always our wonderful supportive Lenelee <3
Symbols are definitely wonderful and the number one tip for getting tattoo. Getting something that means something (wow can that be any more vague?) to you.
Hahaha....I meant changing myself outside of the internet. It's funny that I can be more myself online then offline. I've been getting to be more trusting of others and more patient. Not to mention a lot more outgoing and I handle myself better under stressful circumstances. I'm much less uptight and serious about everything as well. Along with finally overcoming my depression! All of this and I haven't even started counting the changes is my appearance since that's a whole other deal. Here's the picture of the wings I think I may get. What do you think? wings
Haha, sounds like the kind of change I always want in myself. I don't think I'll ever find the end of that journey, but what matters is that I'm always moving forward =]
I think they're absolutely beautiful. The most beautiful wing design I've ever seen actually.
