You can just start posting Stalin. It's already set up in the Roleplay Sub-Forum.

I know, but I feel so weird starting so late in the game. So you just want me to jump in? I hope that's okay. I'm sorry for this silly worrying Dx

Don't worry about it, Stalin! xp Basically, yeah, just jump in as if your character has been there all along. I promise you, it's not as scary as you think it is. ] If you need a little help starting out, well, most students are just coming back to the school in the late afternoon/early evening. I expect they'll clean up in their dorm rooms, maybe hang out for a little while, and come down to the dining hall to eat dinner.
Don't be afraid to jump right into someone else' conversation. We won't bite!

I don't know if anyone really reads this, but I've decided to sort of shut down EBS in a while, don't know when, but it will happen.
Of course, I don't know what I'd do with myself if there wasn't some form of EBS - it's sort of the spirit of the guild, and the continuance of the roleplay was granted to me, so I feel very responsible in keeping it alive. And I know I haven't done a good job of that.
But I am going to change my ways and reinvent EBS once again, but this time in a magnificent way! I just need a bit of time to think of that magnificence. Keep your characters, and you can continue as it is, but expect a new version of EBS to pop up someday (perhaps this summer, perhaps later on).

I hope I can still send in a profile =>.>=
As for how to keep things active... well a rebooting still a good idea. Some people are a little hesitant to join an RP that has more than a few pages already.
And to keep it going from there? You could put up a 'What time is it' in the rp and keep better control over what time of day it is. That way some people can't get too far ahead of others.
Also try to encourage people not to have one page be like only people. To show some restraint, and if everyone gets caught up on waiting for one or two people, it's easier to catch it and warn them or replace them and so the role play will have a smaller chance of twindling away to only two or three people posting.

Those are useful pieces of advice, and we should add them to the future roleplay-tutoring-deal information! But, I still don't think that will help much with EBS. The actual roleplay, itself, just got boring. Truthfully, I think it's only been going on for so long because I pushed it - I felt responsible for continuing it.

Unfortunately it's hard to keep school rps going. {especially big ones}
My only other suggestion would be plot twists & a mischief maker.
A mischief maker is a character whose only real purpose is to cause trouble and antagonize other characters. Most people either don't want to or know how to play one. these characters shouldn't necessarily be liked by or say anybody. But they keep things interesting.

I sort of went for that mischief-maker in Amos Fortun. Never really caught on. The roleplay just petered out. Which is why I sort of just gave up...
