"Wait a minute,your saying that these-"He nudged one of the corpses with his foot to emphasize his point"-things are zombies?The zombies that we see in the horror vids all the time?Girl I've heard alot of stories in my day but I gotta say that tops the cake."He put his pistol away,retrieving a cellphone.He motioned her to stay put"Look I'm gonna call the local sheriff's office and see if we can get some help out here ok?I'll get you to the EMT's and see what they-yeah frank?"He turned away,walking down to the end of the alley and peering out into the street.
"Frank listen,I need you to call the Coroner and EMT's.Well we've got a-what?What do you mean no one can?"Harrison brought the phone closer to his ear,trying to make out his friend's voice over the static in the background"Wait,can you say that again?A giant mob outside the place?...Frank what's that sound?Did someone just fire a shot?I hear something breaking-"he pulled the phone away from his ear as a loud shrill scream rang out and then was cut eerily short by silence."Hello Frank?...Frank?..Frank??..FRANK!"A knot grew in his stomach,a creeping suspicion that the girl may have been not far from the truth after all..because in the background he could hear a low audible moaning."Ok change of plans.We're going to the sheriffs office and your coming with me."

Luna stood by his car hearing the entire phone conversation surprisingly well even from a distance. She paled when he said they would be heading to the sheriff's office. "Are you completely bat-s**t crazy or just suicidal?!? You've got to be kidding, didn't you hear that? They're all most likely dead or infected. I don't want to go anywhere close to that sherrif's office. Look at me," Her eyes went wide with panic. "My only weapon is a tire iron. How much damage do you think I can cause with this." She held the tire iron up at eye level. She was on the verge of a total mental break down. "Zombies aren't supposed to be real," Her head was throbbing from her recent car accident, she raised her free hand up intending to rub her temple to ease the ache. When she actually looked at her arm she realized there was blood trickling down her elbow. "Oh crap, I'm bleeding," She mumbled in a dazed voice, the adrenaline had been carrying her before. She felt somewhat faint at the sight of her own blood. Luna had a terribly weak stomach, after all she had witnessed today her knees felt weak and rubbery. She pitched forward throwing her hands out just in time to cushion her fall. She scraped her knees and palms as she hit the asphalt gasping desperately as shetried to keep from throwing up. "Ugh, I'm think in need some medical attention," She whimpered pitifully, squeezing her eyes shut to ward off the nausea.

Gab had the car going at a high speed through the city, veering around cars and corners. "What is going on with this place?" she grumbled, as she turned a corner and screeched to a halt. "Are they human...?" She questioned, and then decided instead of calling out and attracting attention if they were those things. "I wonder..." She trailed off, and gunned the engine making it roar while the car stayed stationary. "If they're humans this will get them."

"Which is exactly why we should go to the sheriff's office."Harrison knelt down,helping the frantic woman into a sitting position before he checked over her head.There was a big bruise that was swelling abit on the side of her temple but he'd been to enough crime scenes to know when it was something fatal and something that could be treated."Your gonna be alright..what's your name again?Any way lady your gonna be fine.There's a first aid unit back at the station.Besides they have an armory that we could use to better arm ourselves."He helped her to her feet,bringing her back to the car"I know it sounds dangerous but Franks my friend,I gotta see what happene-"He paused,craning his head.There was something in the distance,a low roar.It sounded like a car engine,and from the way they were gunning it..trying to get attention maybe?

Luna stared at him blankly as his sentence trailed off. "My name is Luna-Belle, not that it really matters," she grumbled feeling extremely depressed. "We're all going die anyway," she was so distracted she didn't even hear the roar of the engine behind her.

"Cut it with that s**t."He barked,shaking her"If we are as deep as you say in this s**t,then the only way to survive s get the hell out of this city!Get in the car,we're gonna grab supplies from the police department then meet up with our mystery survivor."

Gab watched, the man shake the girl. "Alive" She gunned the engine again, wheels screeching as she took off, her control over the car was impeccable, roaring down the roadway she hit the brakes, and screeched to a stop just shy of the other car's bumper. "Would someone care to tell me what the hell is going on in this town?" she questioned rolling the window down enough to speak.
Her eyes travelled over the pair. "Where we going?" she asked nodding at the open car door. "Assuming that this is the same thing I saw over seas it's gonna be in a number of places already." She opened the car door and swung a long slender leg out. Her military dress clothes, fit perfectly as she stood up beside the vehicle.

Luna was startled back to reality when he began to shake her. She managed a wry smile, "I guess, you didn't have the pleasure of seeing your fiancee's face being chewed off this morning. I witnessed the s**t first hand, and if that," She jabbed her thumb at the inanimate zombies to emphasize her point. "Is what you turn into, then screw that!" she got into the car unwillingly, then went on ranting. "This is just crazyness. you're really serious about going to the sherrif's office?"
