Ha-ha, most of the early vampire hunters must have been like that, yeah. However, maybe not all of them had such a pre-programmed mind when it came to answering their kids questions regarding such touchy subjects such as sex. True, the only Belmont I can think of who is most likely never to have had any issues with talking about such things would be Julius but, it must be cuz he grew up in a more liberal minded society rather than a closed minded one. Also, I am pretty sure that Julius may have been one of those men who had their children at a very old age compared to other Belmonts. I'm pretty sure that by the time he defeated Dracula for good in 1999 he hadn't even considered getting married yet. Maybe he did get married 25 years after that and his oldest kid was about 14 when he had to go help Arikado with the eclipse. Either that or he was too overprotective of his kids like Lost_Realms says.

You know, now that you mention it, it seems like Eric is a bit drawn like a cowboy, huh? Having 2 daughters must make a dad pretty embarrassed, especially when having to discuss sex with them and how to get prepared for it. I can't even imagine what Stella and Loretta could have possibly had to ask on that subject. For example: When did they get curious enough to ask about their genitalia? I'm a pretty old fashioned guy so I'm willing to bet he must have gotten at least somewhat embarrassed to be asked and, if their mother was no longer around when they asked, well... it might have been a bit more awkward for him, wouldn't you say?

Yeah, I don't see Sonia having any problems with that. Though I'm pretty sure she probably told Trevor that the stork delivered him. Or better yet, a giant manbat! Ha-ha! (reference to Alucard) rofl J/K

Hmm, I'm not so sure about Richter being one of those parents who spoils his kids but, yeah... maybe.

Wait a sec, wouldn't that be the opposite? The more people get kidnapped, the more they should be ready to teach their youngen to be ready for those kind of things, don't you think?



Both SoraMee and you have something going there. I'm pretty sure not all of the Belmonts had to deal with the kidnapping cuz most never had to deal with Dracula reviving. They just had to keep up the tradition of making every first born into the ultimate vampire killing machine (whether or not Dracula showed up, I assumed they had to be ready).
And I'm pretty sure that some did have to deal with kidnapping, even if it wasn't one of the members of their families, maybe they had to help out one of their friends or acquaintances, you know? After all, their Belmont blood is pretty much that of a hero's, right?

I think that their training is what separated the Belmonts from other "average" families (Thank you Snow White Queen). And I don't think every Belmont trained their off springs in the exact same manner. We are all different people after all so we're bound to modify what we think doesn't work and make sure to make up something that we think it's gonna work best. You know?

Also, I notice what SoraMee and Snow White Queen were talking about when it comes to the kidnapping while in the bathroom.
I got to agree with the "non invite" thing but, I also have a theory: Why would Dracula want to send someone to do that? He'd be stuck with poop all over his castle entrance and I doubt he would want to have anybody clean that up! Ha-ha. lol

Oh and btw, the only way I can picture Julius having any of his kids be an emo would be if he had many of them. rolleyes

Ha-ha! Yeah... that's sort of what I was thinking when I read the first post about that. I mean, he can have any of his servants abduct anybody he wants but, I doubt Isaac or another one of his humanoid mercenaries would take anybody while they're on the crapper (sorry if this is offensive but I find the word to be quite funny). mrgreen

I'm sure any Belmont would have a strict regime of training. Not to mention a diet they can count on cuz let's face it, if you stuff your face full of grease and fat foods, the exercise or training is not gonna help you much.
Ha-ha! That sex thing was just to get us started. I was truly wondering how a Belmont would talk to their kids about that subject in particular, that's all.
