Both Rishlan kittens being rather ignorant of anything else going on around them, they continued to play. The one in the darker colored dress soon reared up on her hind legs and then nudged her sister lightly. Almost squealing with laughter, the one in the paler outfit began to run around. The first one then began to chase her and managed to giggle out the words "I'm gonna tag ya!"

Dundii watched silently now. The other inhabitants were interesting, more so than jumping around on slippery rocks. She snorted, turning her tail and heading off the rock, down into the shallow waters. With a burst of spee, dhe galloped into the waters, sending sprays up over her shoulders and back. She dunked her head under the waters, and back up again; her ears limp at the sides of her face. With a laugh, she turned to look at the crowd. She herself enjoyd the company, and starting yapping at some of them. "Is anyone else gonn' come into the wata'?"

Ani sighed, shrugged, then look longingly at the waters. Then, she bounded after Tristan. This weird fluffy-ish creature that was similar to her but not quite intrigued her and she wanted to find out more about him and his species. Nearing the edge of the beach, she looked back wistfully where others were playing. And she slinked away.

The blue-gray creature glances back, ears tipping against his head briefly. "Headin' off where it's quieter, 'n all. You lot make a bit of a racket, so 'm headed to the caves, missy." He pauses, one food inside the shallow tunnel heading back into the gaping maw of the cavern that leads back to the caves.

The pale Rishlan kit with the lighter colored outfit squealed a bit more as she began to run from side to side in hopes of getting her sister off her tail. However, the one clothed in darker garments continued to remain equal distant from her. Pausing for a moment to crouch down, the one in the darker clothing pounced upon her sister, causing the other to topple over in the sand, creating a small explosion of sand in the air.
"Is anyone else gonn' come into the wata'?" Both their ears perking up and their voices ceasing to giggle, the kittens looked to the water to find another Rishlan in the water. The twins looked to each other, examing first what the other one was wearing, then what they themselves were wearing, shook their head and returned to giggling.

A shadow moves through the water, near the shallow end and amidst a spray of ocean water a pale purple, gray and red creature surfaces, shaking his feathers out as he trots toward shore. Quenlaen dips his open beak into the salty water and cleans some wayward sand out, grimacing at the taste. He then spots some other creatures nearby and flicking the last little bit of brine out of his tail he squelches over.

Dundii kept her head facing in the direction of the shore. A smile on her maw the entire time of her waiting. She saw the two other kittens, cocking her head at them. She sat down, tail sinking below the waters surface. A pleading whine escaped her lips. With a defiant snort, she turned her back and proceeded deeper into the fluid. She startled at the large object under the surface, swimming to shore. She began to step backwards, then tripping on a stone, she fell onto her backside, just as the creature came up. She gave it a rather surprised and annoyed look as it passed.

The Rishlan kits didn't quite hear the whining from the other which lurked in the water. Instead, they began to chatter about idle nonsense. The one dressed in the paler of the two outfits started it off:
"So? Anywhere else you wanna explore?"
"No... I like playing here! Tis fun, tis fun!"
"... I am sure other places have as much fun stuff to play with though!"
"...but the sand is so nice and warm here! And there are a million other things we could do here!"
Giggling a bit, the more pastel of the two gave in with a simple "Okay! We stay!" A small mischievous smile spread across her maw as she the pounced upon her sister, who in turn squealed in delight.

Quen shook out his feathers, drying them a bit more and he looked back to see Dundii, "oh, sorry. Did I bump you?" he asked. He paused to preen briefly before giving a small bow to the other.

-Kesi stuck her head out of a bush on the shore, her orange eyes wide in awe.- Wow...Sand! -She gave a bark of joy and lept out into powdery sand. The Ahtun raced down the shore, plume wagging furiously behind her, each of her long strides carrying her further down the beach. Stopping abruptly, the femme yapped and leaped into the water grabbig a small rock from the ground as she did. It was hers all hers. Kesi, proudly, carried the rock onto the shore and flopped down int he sand to chew on it-

"Mmnfff......"
One pumpkin-colored eye fluttered open, short black lashes tickled by a salty breeze. Salty breeze? Cal thought, one foot stirring. She felt the familiar sensation of sand beneath her toes...oh, s**t.
Bleariness sliding abruptly away, Cal sat bolt upright and stared ahead, eyes wide with disbelief. A vast body of sparkling water stretched before her; to the left, sand and water; to the right, sand and water; and, craning her neck to look behind her, the entrance to some unknown place, and massive cliffs.
Fighting back a scream of rage, Cal plopped back onto her haunches, sitting with her legs outstretched helplessly and her front paws draped between them. It couldn't have been enough that she'd been turned into something that looked like a damned CAT. Not even enough, it seemed, that she had to be a BABY one. Now, without any explanation at all, she'd been plopped on a random beach, out in the middle of nowhere without Pavo or Lith or Ric or Cher, without anyone she remotely knew, and without any discernible way of getting back home.
"God DAMMIT!" she shouted suddenly, slapping irritably at the sand with one peach-colored paw. Kind of foul mouth for a kitten, haven't I?

-Kesi gnawed on the rock, grring softly. She perked to the Rishlan kitten who seemed to be a wee bit disgruntled. Kesi's eyes went wide with curiosity.- Oo...-Dropping the rock, the Ahtun crouched down in the sand, as if it would hide her, and began to stalk towards the smaller creature. Once close enough, she flopped down, ears pinned back against her head as she wiggled her butt in the air, preparing to pounce.-

Cal glanced around, an impatient sigh escaping her lips. She couldn't just sit here on this beach waiting to rot...but she had no idea what to do, if truth be told. That gaping hole in the cliff had looked slightly promising. Perhaps she could at least make a sort of camp there. She turned around...
...and came face to face with a large sort of dog. Giving a shout of surprise, Cal tripped backwards and landed with a thud in the sand, scrambling away from the beast as quickly as possible.
"Nice doggy!" she cried, not taking her wide eyes from it. "You stay back!"

-Kesi perked her large ears up, watching her scramble away from her.- Where are you going?
-She pounced towards her, pawing at the sand playfully. Poor, simple minded, Kesi just wanted to play. She had never been very perceptive of if she had frightened someone or not. The Ahtun barked a few times then divebombed the sand, rolling with excitement.- Play! Come on!

Well. The thing was obviously harmless, even if it wasn't very intelligent. Relaxing slightly, Cal sat up, arranging herself in as dignified a manner as possible. Her hat had dropped off at some point; she picked it up between both front paws, cursing her lack of opposable thumbs, and jammed it back onto her head.
"I'm sorry," she said, eyeing the beast, "but I don't 'play.' Do you know how to get out of here?" she added, then, watching the dive into the sand, repeated more slowly and loudly. "Do You Know How To Get Back To Durem From Here?"
Hrm. The dog-thing was silent for a long time. Sighing, Cal examined her other options. Right now, it looked like that cave was it...damn. With a scowl, she shoved past the dog and made her way into the foreboding entrance.
