sorry, got "cut and paste" happy with the "jyu" "ju" thing. I just don't want anyone confused if someone puts "jyu" and someone else puts "ju" (10 has a long u so, should it be "jyu" or "jyuu"?)

Same with じゃ まった= ja matta, it's not jya matta! stare It's an exception with じ=ji!

I'm really sorry if I sound bitchy, but do you realize that "Juu"is made from the sounds Ji and Yu being put together? In fact, if you hear Japanese people speak, it is often pronounced with the "y" sound. Its really a matter of opinoin on this one, because I have seen jya AND ja, jyu AND ju. The only ones I have never seen with a 'y' are shu, sha, sho, and chu, cha, cho. And yes, you're right Freakezette-san, it would be jyuu!! (I was wrong there! sweatdrop ) Actually, if you could put the Japanese characters in there for me (cause my computer says, "NO!! I HATE JAPANESE!!!"), that would rock! And don't worry about changing it around or back or anything. Though that would make a good lesson in your Japanese journal, that romaji is written differently depending on the writer!

Freakezette If I put the Japanese characters in there, should I write the hiragana or the kanji? Yes, I agree with Tsuki-chan, both would be good. Kanji first, kana next, then romaji. Unless that's too much work, cause I don't want to tire you out!!

BTW, "I understand" is wakarimasu.

OH man, that took a while, but I added kana and kanji to at least the first two posts. I didn't do the days, but I figure it's pretty easy to figure out (just add a number to nichi). My teacher had us do some katakana reviewing, so I suddenly had a good list of Oddball Katakana works. It's the 6th posts, or you can click this link! "I understand what you said, I just don't know how to resond." ^^; I'll take a stab at this, but this is good to asked my teacher 私は言ったことが分かりますけれども、答える方法を知りません。 watashi wa itta koto ga wakarimasu keredomo, kotoeru houhou o shirimasen. houhou is like "way of doing." I imagine i have the right vocab, but the wrong sentance structure, that's the story of my Japanese career.
