The ebony mare smiled happily, very glad that he liked it too. "It really is much better when everything is in full bloom, it's so pretty." She hoped he'd think so too.. Oh! They could, that would be wonderful! "Yes, we should! Usually when the fruit trees in the valley start blooming, that's when these are blooming, too." It wasn't a fool-proof method of estimating, but it was still fairly accurate and that was good enough for the dark-coated mare.
She turned to him with a bright smile, flicking her tail idly. "Do you know of any other places here in Yisi? I'm afraid this is the only one I know of..." And it wasn't even in bloom! Oh well.. At least he seemed to like it, and that was good. And they would come back when all the flowers and fruits were out, and it would look so much better, then he would see how pretty it really was.

Oh. He couldn’t really think of any other amazing places to go in Yisi. Lots of it was lovely, but really that hill was the only impressive spot he knew of. Taur shook his head. “Umm, no, not really... Maybe... maybe we could just travel around Yisi? Maybe we’d find more lovely places like this.” Places that would not be hers, that would not be his; they would be theirs. He wanted to have more in common with her, to share more things with her, to have... closeness he supposed.
He wasn’t scared that she would turn on him because of his freakishness anymore, he was just scared that she would leave one day and he would have little to remember her by. Special places they had found together would be lasting memories, and he could visit them over and over again and remember the happiness he had felt in the days he had been around the beautiful and kind mare. Maybe they would even run into one another in one of the places, and she would be happy to see him, and introduce him to the wonderful mate and beautiful foals she would have by then. Maybe her family would even tolerate his presence once in a while, and they could still be friends. Maybe.
