Well, at least you did read what I said, that's enough for me. I am permissive of it to some extent, but if it goes way out of hand, I'll just disappear for a while.

You might want to hide your eyes when I'm around as when. I make a sailor sound like an angel. I will try to be on my best behavior as long as no one angers me.

Anybody else cook?
Me, I make a damn good spaghetti and meat sauce. I can stirfry pretty good too. Really...I think I'm awsome in the kichen. A regular copper chef.
At least, I would be. I have this one problem though...everything I make takes like five times as long. It really is great though.

I wouldn't exactly call what I do "cooking" so much as "throwing random ingredients together and hoping it comes out edible" ninja

I do that too. All I can say...Don't try to do your own peanutbutter chicken. Especially if you use rice to make it. gonk

I cook, a lot. Mainly because I'm the only one who ever cooks. Unless everybody wants Lean Cuisines every night, which I highly doubt.

Peanutbutter chicken? That sounds like a very interesting idea to try. What did you do to make that? There is a southeast asian dish where an idea close to that occurs. What you do is you skewer bits of chiken on bamboo skewers and grill them. Then for a final touch, a peanut sauce is poured or drizzled, I don't really know the word, on the chicken. The sauce is either plain or spicy depending on the person's tastes. And personally, I enjoy cooking, I just don't get much practice in since I lack the time to cook. But, what is a copper chef? I feel stupid asking, but I really do not know what it is. Is it a person who can cook using more traditional instruments like pots, pans, woks, and such?

Copper Chef is a few rungs down the ladder from Iron Chef, made famous by the import JTV show of the same name. And...yeah, that's sort of what I was going for with peanut chicken, but I tried to do a rice dish. It was a total disaster...which was bad for me, as I make a habit of eating any mistakes that aren't toxic, so as to better remember what I did wrong. Even so, I couldn't bring myself to eat all that peanut butter rice. gonk

Peanut butter rice...can't say I've tried that. However, the next time you want to make rice differently, you can try one thing I do know. Instead of using plain water to cook the rice in, you can replace it with chicken broth and add a few blades of lemon grass with it. It adds a wonderful flavor to the bland rice. And it is nice to eat one's mistakes in cooking. It avoids waste and allows for one to understand what one did wrong. But, some things just don't go down as easily as others...as in the case of one of my friend's recipies. he was desperate for a burger at a time when his jaws were unable to chew. And in his desperation...he put a burger through a blender. It was successfully pureed. He then commentated that he would never again repeat such a recipie under any circumstances.

I'm 27 and the most complex thing I've ever cooked is ramen. Mom didn't let me touch the stove until I was 18. I learned to shoot a gun at 5 but never learned to cook.

I've done the chicken broth before. Never thought to try lemon grass though. Sounds bloody briliant. I'm gonna have to pick some up. Incidentally, which kind of rice do you favor? My personal preference for most things is Jasmine Rice when I can get it. I think Wild Rice is better for cassaroles, though. (Pardon my spelling, I'm not feeling well today.)
