  In the brief moment of silence that descended upon the commencement of the meal, Jezza grinned at Alian dishing herself a hearty portion of the food provided. Alian was very beautiful woman which made Jezza jealous for a split moment. Funny though that she was not the type that Mathias had ever shown an interest in before now. All of the other girls were either daughters of prominent ambassadorial families or the gorgeous hotties that would catch the attention of his superiors. He loathed being around them though which she was glad he still had his head on that straight at least. She liked this change. Covertly she shot a surprised gaze from the corner of her eye towards her twin brother. Mathias began to heap some salad and some of her expensive rock lobster on his plate with his usual cold, masculine scowl on his face. She had hoped years ago that the nasty expression would not have grown to be there permanently, but it seemed to have grown there like a fungus. He tried to be so business like, no matter his surroundings which only seemed to add the years on his face. How long had it been since he had actually smiled with actual joy behind it? She hated the forced grin he usually wore to indulge her. He was too serious. He reminded her very little of their father unlike when they were younger. Once he had his fill of food on his plate, he glanced up at her and his stare turned to one of warning. He turned away when he thought that Jezza had received his message as she piled food on her plate as well. In his peripherals, he watched at his twin sister wipe away her unusually serious expression and replace it with her normal childish grin as she turned herself to pouring lemonade from a demon shaped pitcher for all present at the table. As he looked at her slyly, Jezza's eyes sparkled mischievously while her brown locks rippled down her back. From his memories Jezza looked just like their mother, a spitting image. Every feature was a perfect mold of their long gone mother's which made his envy of her flare up at moments like this. Everyone who knew their family had always said that he was the younger version of their father, but he could never see it. His eyes shifted to Alian while she served herself food. She was a very odd woman, much like his weird sister who sat only a few feet from him in between them. He could not argue that she was good looking, but she was different. He wasn't sure that he liked different. Turning his mind from such troubling matters as affection for a woman, he picked up his fork and pierced a few leaves of salad to shove them in his mouth as Alian posed her questions in rapid succession. His attention seemed to be purely on food. "We have lived here about five years. " Jezza replied charmingly, amused at Alian's peppy nature. "I own my own business, Berenger Fleet and Freight. It is a message delivering business with some freight shipping on the side." Jezza turned to look at Mathias, expecting him to answer. Mathias shoved another piece of lobster in his mouth, ignoring her. Her boot landed in the middle of Mathias' shin as a warning causing him to jump in shock then glare at her. After a brief staredown, Mathias sighed, took a drink to clear his throat then turned to Alian smoothly. "I am a member of the World Wide Ambassadorial Courts." He answered casually. "I represent the Highlands in the North, our home territory. I am also a ambassador to the government. I make sure that they follow their promises." Jezza turned back to Alian, satisfied with his answer. "Mathias and I are twins even though we look nothing alike." Jezza announced as Mathias turned back to his food. Jezza swallowed a bite of chicken. "We are both twenty-two. how old are you, Alian? What do you do for a living?"

 Alian watched the twins closely. Their interactions suggested a deep and strong relationship surrounded by contention, and she liked it. The movements of a family, even if it was only twins the interactions were original but familiar. " I am twenty two hundred years old, I know, i know you would have never of guessed" Alian waited for their reaction, " No I am joking I am only twenty two, but I am sure their is someone who is..." Alian stopped talking I am always getting off track she thought. " Anyways, I am a tattoo artist. I program skin chips to hold tattoo designs." With this sentence Alian turned on her chip and selected her favorite tattoo. The design flickered across her skin vines crawled out from under her tank top and wrapped themselves around her arms and fingers, eyes opened on her back, and roses bloomed along her entire body. Alian stood up and twirled around. " This is what I do for a living, you like it?"

 "Wow! I love it!" Jezza squealed in excitement. "They are certainly...interesting." Mathias commented, not sure of how to react. "Interesting!" Alian was slightly annoyed by Mathias' response, "it took me three weeks to program this chip, not including design development." "Well, I love it, Alian!" Jezza chimed in, amused by her twin's uneasiness. "Do you think you could make me one?" "Oh, yes. Sorry, I didn't mean to jump on you Mathias." Alian couldn't believe she had reacted like that, "Ya they are relatively cheap, just a holograph image projected into the surface cells. You have a design in mind?" "Well, I have some drawings that I kinda would like." Jezza replied, suddenly very excited. "I will have to show them to you. Once you are fully moved in, of course." Mathias released a sigh and shoved the last of his food into his mouth, feeling supremely awkward. He was extremely nervous about Jezza getting a digital tattoo, just like their father had been before his death. Darn it!  That was the last person he wanted to be like at this moment. Silently he stood, gathered up his part of the dishes and moved to the kitchen where he began to fill up the sink with his dishes, ignoring the cleaning unit beside it. Alian switched into business mode, straightened her shirt and sat up straight. She did this on purpose, to many friends had tried to take advantage of her. Alian found it amusing that she probably resembled Mathias right now. Stick up the but and all she thought. "So a full body tattoo like this is quite expensive and taking one of your drawings and transferring it into a tattoo, will cost 5% more. Since you cooked me dinner I think I can wave that fee. I will get you the exact detail once I am unpacked." With this she started collecting plates and dishes. "Oh, don't worry, Alian." Jezza stood and began gathering the left overs. "You don't have to do dishes. That is my job." She would take her load of leftovers and place them in the cooling unit while she deposited her dishes in the soapy sink next to Mathias. "As far as the tattoo, don't worry about waving the fee. I have more than enough to pay for it all. What I would really want is for a small wrist tattoo or a back tattoo." Mathias had started on doing the dishes, the old fashioned way. As their mother had always did it. He forced a smile at Jezza as she offered him the plates, receiving an affectionate one in return. Listening to the women beside him chatter, he dove into his job. For as long as he could remember it had been this way. If Jezza cooked, he did dishes and vice versa.

  Jezza smiled lovingly at her brother as he dunked the soapy dishes into the clean water. It had been three years since they had purchased the latest dishwashing unit that was no bigger than a laundry basket, but it had been rarely used. Every time she had cooked which was getting more frequent as time went on, Mathias always washed the dishes by hand instead of using the unit. The big goofball anyway, she thought to herself as he dumped an errant scrap of food into their trash compacter. He always smiled when he did dishes. "Jezza." Mathias said, bringing her from her thoughts as she reached for a dish rag. "The trash compacter is full." "Ok. I got it." She replied, placing the rag on the counter. After turning off the compacter, she reached in and pulled out a large cube of burned, compacted trash then kicked it shut. "I will wipe off the table when I get back." She commented, heading for the door. She stopped and turned back to Alian. "Alian, do me a favor? Watch Mathias so that he doesn't get too pruney while doing dishes, ok/" Mathias glared at her with an amused smirk. "Just don't get lost taking out the trash, Jazz." Mathias retorted, looking to Alian. "Last time, she said that there was a creepy man sleeping in the trash bin and she beat him off." He told their guest as if it were a strange idea. Jezza merely stuck her tongue out at her brother. "It is true! He just ran off before you got there to help me." Jezza argued playfully. "Thankfully I can defend myself!"Without waiting for a retort, Jezza stepped out the back door and deposited her trash cube with the others. However, when she turned to head back in, something glistened in the evening light. She rounded the dumpster and saw a metallic man leaning leisurely against the can. Strange, it looked like a robot. Kneeling down, she touched its shoulder, feeling it wiggle slightly beneath her soft pushing. It couldn't be a robot! Retracting her hand, she saw a dark liquid cover her hand and, upon lifting it up into the light, she saw a familiar red tint to it. Fear overtook her. "Mathias!!!!" She shouted. "Call the hospital!!!

 Alian heard Jezza, she dropped the dishes Jezza had left on the table and ran out the back door. She saw Jezza crouched over a figure, as she came closer she realized it was a robot.Alian couched down to the figure it was then she saw the liquid on Jezza's hand. "Can you hear me? Hello are you okay?" Alian tried to wake the figure. The lack of response confused her if it was a robot it was expected but if it was human silence was bad. Alian looked at Jezza and Mathias. "Mathias help me carry it inside."

 "It is a robot, Jezza!" Mathias said, stepping out of the back door with a cell phone in hand. He pressed a button on it, then slid it into his pocket. "How is a hospital supposed to help a robot?" He retorted angrily, bending down to lace one of the robot's arms over his shoulders to lift him to his feet. "But he is bleeding!" Jezza pointed out, holding up her blood covered hand. "Robots don't bleed!""Whatever, Jezza!" Mathias snarled, beginning to walk towards the door to their home. He turned back to Alian. "I can get him inside, Alian. Help Jezza clear a place for him in the living room, ok?""Come on, Alian." Jezza cried, grabbing the girl's wrist. "You can hold the door open for Mathias. I will go call Josh!" She called the last to Mathias before running into the house, assuming that Alian held the door open for Mathias and their patient. Jezza bolted into the house, picking up the cordless house phone as she went. She rapidly dialed a number then held the phone in place with her shoulder as she began to gather up the necessary items to help the poor being they found in the alleyway. A few minutes later, she appeared in the living room with an arm full of towels, some bandages and an assortment of tools that might be useful. By this time, Mathias would be in the living room just as Jezza got there. Softly he laid the humanoid looking being on the couch as Jezza turned off the phone and came to the couch side. Mathias backed away from the girls as they jumped to work, sighing in dismay at the blood stains on his good business shirt. With Alian's help, they placed a towel over the area where they guessed the blood was coming from. "I wonder what happened to him." Jezza thought out loud as she knelt down beside it. "You always were finding a stray animal or some sort, Jezza." Mathias explained, sitting on a chair at the opposite end of the living room. "It was only a matter of time before you freaked out about a robot too, I suppose." Jezza stared at him pointedly as he rubbed his neck. "It isn't a robot, Mathias!" Jezza stated matter of factly. "How many robots do you know that bleed?" Mathias shrugged coolly. "Maybe it killed someone." He offered. Jezza rolled her eyes and looked back to the patient. "Whatever. Anyway, Josh is out of town so he can't help us." Jezza stated. Then, realizing that Alian wouldn't know who he was, she smiled. "Our mechanic." She offered. "You wouldn't happen to know any mechanics that do house calls do you?"{{Sorry. I was confused with Rob's post. I hope this works.}}

 "I do have a degree in computer engineering, but I have never seen such a complicated robot before, I mean they never touched this at school and I never use this technology when making tattoos." The noises woke him up, there was so much movement and noise. It was warmer in here. The smells were different. They stung his nose, he sat up. Screams and a gasp of shock accompanied his movement. "He is moving!!" He couldn't see anything, it was so dark. He moved his hand in front of his sensors, no information was relayed. He activated his repair program. The program informed him that he had been damaged and it was attempting to repair it. Five point six seconds until sensor reactivation. "Hello? Hello who... what are you?" Alian was worried she had never seen such a high class of bio-technology. This thing was basically living, but as far as she could tell it was a robot. They would need a second opinion. Her thoughts were interupted by a sound, "hewazz" Alian looked at the figure, "Did it just... talk?"

 "I think it just said hello." Jezza explained in awe, watching the robot droid move in a curious fashion. "Maybe his speech unit is damaged."Mathias watched in a mixture of amazement and worry as Jezza moved to sit on the couch next to the barely functional robot. Jezza seemed completely enthralled with their new guest. She leaned in front of the bot's visual sensors and held up her outspread hand, waving to say hi. She seemed more dysfunctional than the robot. "Hello!" Jezza began softly, smiling. "My name is Jezza. What's yours? Are you hurt?"Now Jezza was trying to talk to a robot? Could his sister be even weirder? He rubbed his face in frustration. Mathias had listened to Alian's amateur diagnosis in bewilderment then turned his attention to her. "You know about robots?" He asked.

 Alian replied to Mathias question obviously distracted, "They were a hobby of mine, but I have never seen anything this advanced." Alian continued her rambeling more to hear her thoughts than to explain the mystery sitting in-front of them. "I mean he has living tissue, at least it looks alive, and it is integrated into his mechanical systems. That is what I am seeing. Maybe this... Josh fellow will be able to tell... I just don't know" sensor function returing... now A movement startled the figure and his sensors came back online. He threw up his hands in protection and felt his elbow hit something.

  Jezza flinched at the robot's sudden movement. A hard tink sound erupted from the back of the couch, followed by the sound of breaking glass. Jezza looked over the back of the couch to see a mangled heap of glass. A giggle bubbled up from within her which she tried to stifle against the back of the couch. "What did it break now?" Mathias groaned, stepping closer to see. He stared down at the shards of dark glass and smirked softly. "Hey, Jezza, wasn't that that demon statue that I hated so much? I think this walking tin can just did me a favor!"Unable to contain it any more, Jezza busted out laughing. How many times had Mathias and her fought over the placement of that statue? He had recommended placing it in the corner where it would not have been broken easily, but she had been bent on placing it behind the couch on a table. Now it was in shatters and all she could do was laugh! Realizing her robotic guest, she smiled. "Hey, I am not going to hurt you. See." She held up her hands and flipped them over so that he could see that she was not armed. "I am Jezza. Who are you?" She tried again. Mathias stood next to Alian, ignoring the broken glass as it seeped into the floor. The robot looked and sounded damaged, but the blood oozing from his funny suit made him uneasy. Could a human really be beneath this suit? "Alian, do you know any mechanics?" Mathias asked coolly, trying not to show any interest.

 "Did you not hear anything I said?" Alian's full attention was turned to Mathias," Degree in computer technology with experience in basic robotic technology... What do you think?" "Jwazz, Jawazz, Heaxzz, Jwaszz" The robot of sorts kept repeating the same phrase, Jwazz Heaxzz. "What is it doing? The noise is quite annoying." Alian spat, she was worried and tended to get annoyed easily when she got worried. Deep breath, remember what the book said... She took in a deep breath. " I am sorry Mathias, yes I have mechanical knowledge. Why do you want to know? do you need me to fix anything for you today?"

  Mathias flinched at Alian's unexpected tone. The surprised look on his face demonstrated his true astonishment. All of this time he thought that she was one of those sickeningly cheerful types like his sister. However it seemed like she had a bit of bite. interesting... "Actually I was meaning other mechanically inclined people that would know this kind of technology!" He snapped back lowly. "Since Josh is out of town, I was hoping you had one in the area that can help this thing since Jezza has taken a fancy to it." Once he realized that the tin can was making sounds, Mathias turned to his sister. "How can you listen to that racket?" He asked, placing his hands over his ears. Jezza smiled excitedly. "He is saying my name!" She announced happily. "Well sort of. He is repeating 'Hello, Jezza' over and over, but it means he can understand, kinda." She looked into the robot's sensor's and decided to try one more time. "What is your name?"

 Alian blushed, "I am sorry i thought you asked if I was a mechanic. I just moved here, remember? But i could call this guy i know See if he knows anybody." Alian was embarrassed by the misunderstanding and was sure that her skin color matched the roses in her tattoo. She turned off the tattoo hoping that that would lessen the noticeability of her blushing. "I will give him a call right now" "Jewzzs" the man reached out and grabbed Jezzas shoulder, "Hwats e hwats." He picked up the soaked towel, "Hwats."

  Mathias felt his eye twitch as Alian went to give a 'guy she knows' a call. A guy she knows? If that wasn't code speech for boyfriend then he didn't know what was! He was so lost in his train of thought that he barely noticed her blushing. "'Jezza...it...hurts...'" She said each word as he said it slowly, trying to decipher what he was saying. She gasped as he waved the towel in front of her. "You are in pain? Where do you hurt?" She asked, barely paying attention to Mathias and Alian.
