character bio: The daughter of a seamstress and a scientist that was involved in the Dolly the Sheep experiment, Brogan was born in Glasgow, Scotland. Her father was a mutant, possessing the ability to predict the outcome of any situation with great accuracy, faster than any computer. When Brogan was born, tests were run to see if she had developed a mutant gene from her father but this had proen to be negative as she came out as human. It wasn't until she was only 26 months old when she began reading her father's books on various topics such as astronomy, anatomy and engineering. This resulted in her awe-struck parents witnessing their daughter recite the information she read in the books with great accuracy. The same tests were run that were performed when she was born, with the outcome proving that she was infact a mutant, developing her father's ability amongst others. As she grew up, she lived a normal life by dumbing herself down to fit in with the others and not become a child prodigy. At age 12, her parents were contacted by Professor Charles Xavier who travelled to Glasgow alongside Dr. Jean Grey to persuade her parents to let her enrole in the institute, to which they agreed. Brogan was very excited to be in an environment in which she would be surrounded by people like herself. To this day, she has made many friends with fellow mutants and looks up to Beast and Forge as mentors as she hangs around with them in the sub-basement most of the time.
