Hey, I heard we get tax or cash rebates when we convert to LNG here in VIC? Do you know what we get back?
question Yeah depends on the car though, If you convert somthing newer that would probably run better on petrol anyway,you can get back almost 2/3 of the original cost back. It was on an ad not long ago.
But for older cars you get somthing like just over half back, But it's damn worth it. My falcon has been on gas for about 10 years now, and it doesnt cost much more to run that on gas than it does to run my sisters excel on petrol. Only problem with the gas is that it's a real hassle to try and start the car, it's really hard to try and change from petrol to gas when one or the other is running out and it's really eats away at the power.
But to answer your question yeah you get quite a big rebate for gas these days, if you dont mind the few minor setbacks.
