Whoa. That's like Obama branding a unicorn in a bad way. I can't get that image of the Yuki figure and your dad kissing a picture out of my head. Oh, gosh, oh, oh gosh.

He sounds worse than me. The only anime my dad ever got into (Unless you count Avatar as an anime) was Yu-Gi-Oh! (The original one.). Even so, he wasn't that big a fan (I doubt I'll ever see him borrowing a Dark Magician Girl figure for that long.).
However I've tried to get him to watch two anime that I thought would be in his tastes (Cowboy Bebop and Death Note). However, he wasn't that interested in either, yet when I was watching a random episode of Haruhi on my computer he was watching it over my shoulder and looked somewhat interested.
Then again it might be due to the creepy Haruhi/Persona 3 crossover wallpaper I have (You might be like that too if, every time you turn on the computer you see a crazy looking girl with a gun pointed at her head).

Ah ha ha, that's what my dad does whenever he sees any anime characters he thinks are pretty, and when he sees the guys he starts yelling about how they're taking the girls from him, so weird! eek That's why I stopped even mentioning anime and mangas now, unless he buys them for me, then I just thank him and hope he doesn't do the creepy stuff he usually does when around anime/manga related items.
