On occasion, I will see a ghost out of the corner of my eye. Often times, this only happens when my mind is troubled. But I can still say with high certainty. That these were in fact ghosts. Ghosts that I have seen.
My grandfather (on my dads side). He occasionally visits the house. The only time I actually see him. Is when I am doing some sort of work around the house.
My Great Grandmother (one my moms side). I saw her only once at my grandmothers house. I'm assuming that they were just coming to visit. There were four other people with me at the time. Not one of them actually saw what I saw. Perhaps I am just more receptive towards ghosts than the rest of my family.
My Great-Uncle Alvin (on my dads side). I only saw him once. He lived to be 85. So most of my life, I knew him quite well. I would say I was closer to him than most of my other relatives. We had quite a bit in common. Including love for the arts. I saw his ghost only once at his funeral.
There are also a few ghosts. That I see from time to time in this house. I have no clue of there names though.

I usually see dark shadows moving around the house at night.
Though recently I did see one while I was in the kitchen with a small source of light I had on. I was getting a glass of water when I saw a person behind me; like she wanted to grab me. I've never seen that ghost before. So it scared me half to death. sweatdrop At least she went away after that. sweatdrop

Ghosts never just go away after one appearance. The shadows you saw could have very well been. The lights flickering off of the walls from passing automobiles. The only way you can confirm that it was possibly a ghost. Is if you can confirm. That those lights had no origin to begin with.

My cat, Sassy, is a spirit that goes everywhere wit me. Thankfuly she likes my new cat, Shadow. I feel like their good friends. Sassy hinds my brother's dog's toys but picks up Shadow's toys.

Yeah dark shadow like spirits have a weird likeing to me, so I feel for you. There is a possiblilty that one of those dark shadows that you see at night is that woman you saw. The ghost in my room usually takes the form of shadows but one time he scared me half to death when he showed himself to me and I just woke up! So you can imagine my reaction to that.

Sort of. When I'm at my gram's house, I can feel the spirit of my uncle. (RIP Carl.) But other then that, I can just feel them at the cemetary.. so very few experiences.
My bf, though, has had a lot of.... odd things happen.

I've had a few encounters some of them were wonderful and taught me a good deal of things I didn't know before. However some of those encounters have left scars on me. To see an enter civil war battle field filled is something that will weigh on you. Granted that's if you even cared that they were kill horrifically.
*shudders* One of my best and worst encounters was when I was four years old, and it was with a Satanic Ritual victum. That definitely will stay with me for a long time to come.

I didn't actually see a spirit this time though I knew it was there. There was a load of tree branches all over my grandmothers yard. So I was out there cutting them up into smaller peaces. Taking the trees I could get as well if they where to far gone. Well there was this one branch just hanging there. It perplexed me why this thing never moved an inch. It was as if someone was holding the thing up there.

Yeah I saw a ghost once too it was a hotel I didnt see it but I felt it I kept tryin to take a whole bunch of pictures to see if there was a ghost and in of my pictures I saw the ghost just staring at my in the face all scary like.I dunno how the person died there though it was some lady called Kate Morgan who died like wwaaayyyy back in the 60's or somethin

I had the overhead light above my stove on and the ghost I saw was coming towards me while drinking out of my water bottle. Even though there was a considerable amount of light on she was able to approach me until the reach of the light I had on. Then she disappeared.

I've never actually seen a ghost. But when I rolled my car into a ditch, I felt a calming presence. It was like someone was there letting me know it was ok. Even as the car was filling up with water, I wasn't afraid. The accident was down the road from my cousin's house. Something woke him up and he just had a feeling to go for a drive. If he hadn't I would probably be dead right now. Thank goodness for guardian angels. heart

Let's see, how many ghost sightings have I had? One at my grandmothers house. A number of minor unconfirmed sights at my house. Including one that was an actually hostile ghost. A few at a friends house as well.

I found out something very interesting about a specific ghost recently. One of my friends has a ghost at her house, and has a tendency to take stuff for himself. (He took a sandwich once I swear I'm telling the truth!) And once he finds out that you're close to my friend or any of her reletives, he takes stuff from you when your in the house. (Got artwork and good stories stolen by him crying )

My closet is a hot zone for a number of reasons. There is a nearby bathroom right next to it with a light that is already on. This is energy that they can feed on. There is a closet right next to the bathroom. So that is a no brainer. I always sleep with the lights off with all of the doors closed.. So its dark in there. I'm not sure if this is actually a true statement. But brick buildings seem to be conductors as well. Our house isn't a brick house. But my friends house is. I stayed the night one night. We just stayed up looking into the shadows at all of the ghosts. I saw my old cat Shammoo.

I'm not fond of ghosts...but I'll share some razz
There's only 1 ghost in my house, and he's in the storage..
It's like...when you enter, there's this awkward silence...then you start feel like someone's there but BAM! no one. I really think its my grandpa, but he died before I was born.
