When I first heard that song I turned to my little sister and told her they were singing about the fangirls. Despite the serious emoness that is their first cd, we can't listen to it without cracking up now.

I'm with you all the way. That's happeding to another band I like. Hellogoodbye, the band, the fan girls are like, "I own their EP which has all their songs on it... Blah blah." The truth. I've been listening to them for the last 3 years and I have a CD of them which 17 of their songs. (Their EP only has 4 songs on it.) I don't tell them (And I'm not braging), but when I menton a song they never heard of they go," Yeah right, I'm a big fan and I know that isn't a song of theirs" I feel like killing then my avi hands.

My friend to every show they had in our area because she really liked their music. So she bought a bunch CD's they were selling that had a bunch of new non-relesed songs and put them on one CD. But then we were going to go to one of the last shows they were having in our area but Dawn said, "Rosie, we can't go. They just got back from toring with AAR and all of AAR's fangirls will now be their fangirls and we won't be able to get up front. (My friend Dawn isn't a fangirl. Some what of a groupie, I say that because the band members knew her name, but not a fangirl.)

Haha, yes. My friends and I also boycott MTV.

Now Panic! At The Disco is the next Fall Out Boy/My Chemical Romance. That makes me extremely beyond sad. Makes me a little glad that I listen to some bands that are never going to mTV-boom again. Like Queen (who I am going to see perform in 3 days). or...uh....The Smashing Pumpkins. [sarcasm] oMg i WaNt BiLlY cOrGan'S Bod!11eleventeen-and-a-one! [/sarcasm]

Actually that's where I got the inspiration to write this thread.

I've dropped My Chemical Romance from my "Favorite Band in the World" title, and replaced it with SAOSIN.

They just released their first full-length EP back in September (nine days after my birthday, actually) and since then the amount of people who like Saosin has increased tenfold.
I've been listening to them for well over a year now, starting with both of their EP's and eventually grabbing every other song I could find off of Limewire.

It saddens me to see that they're getting unnecessary attention from stupid MTV-holics.

I asked someone if they had heard of Saosin before (completely expecting them to be clueless) and they responded with "Oh yeah, I LOVE THEM! They did 'Voices', right? I heard it on the radio.". And of course I had to bombard them with "Yeah, they did that song, but their best ones are on the EP's. 'Seven Years', 'Translating the Name', 'Bury Your Head (the original version)', are all so much better."

Why don't people do some research before they claim to be in love with a band?
Google it for ******** sake.

Well I have a few EP's that only have 2-3 songs on them, so it's not uncommon to have a small tracklist.
Hellogoodbye's EP actually had 6 songs on it:
