foreversams Halloween24-7 I've busted out the Quiji board occasionally, but other than that I have anything lately. I want to though biggrin Those things freak me out. >.> And you're story about the butcher is totally creepy. XD We used one of those during a friends b-day party. We had a ghost who said it wanted to kill. We asked who. It started spelling one of their names and she absolutely flipped. Of course, then we all ran upstairs and the only ones who dared to go back to tell the ghost to leave were me and one other person. XD Good times....

I haven't really had any supernatural experiences, but a lot of my friends have.
One friend was seeing this spooky . . . . thing . . . following her around when she got up to college. She described it as this black, emaciated figure with a head like a horse, but with the top part chopped off. She had seen it several times around campus, including in her room. She thought she was just going a little . . . well, crazy, so she didn't tell anyone but me.
A few months after she had started seeing this thing, another friend of ours who lived on the same campus told us about this creepy thing she thought she saw. She described it the exact same way my first friend did!
Another of my friends moved to New York for college and is living in a town that apparently contains one of the 7 gateways to hell, which is the legend that SPN writers got the Devil's Gate idea from.
Her apartment was also haunted by an old man who died there a long time ago. The little kid in the apartment below her was always telling his mom about this old man he saw walking around the complex, even though there were no old men that lived there and no one else had seen the guy. They also got cold spots around the house and, when that happened, my friend said she could feel someone watching her. She looked up if there had been any deaths in her apartment and, sure enough, an 80 year old man had died there.
Then her roommate performed an exorcism and now the old guy isn't there anymore.

Oh, and here's another story that's not really supernatural (at least, I hope it doesn't), but it does have to do with Supernatural and weirdness.
My friend with the haunted apartment I mentioned in my last post has been going through some pretty intense surgeries over the past few years. As a result, she has also been on lots of pain meds. So, one night, a few days after our first Supernatural marathon, she switched her medication. RIght before bed, she took her first new meds, but she still had some of the old pain killers in her system and the different drugs didn't mix so well.
She woke up that night, hallucinating that the YED was in her room! Mind you, this wasn't a dream, but a full out hallucination. Of course, she was so drugged up at this point that she ended up falling asleep about a minute after she woke up, so she didn't have much time to freak out about it.
But still, super spooky.

Sweet. I live not too far from UW whitewater (Wisconsin), and they have some pretty wierd things happen there. Legend has it that they have this book (back when witches were around) hidden in their library. They've got some other stuff there too. You should google it biggrin
