my solution is very simple, if Disney cans PR after RPM wraps and decides to sell the rights off, sell the rights to Bandai and let Bandai distribute it under their anime branch. Doing this may also be the only way us older fans will ever see legit releases of the original seasons.

That is a great idea. I can't believe I had not thought of that. MMMMMMM the thought of nice copies of unedited Shinkenger makes me happy.
I recently found a company that was putting out legit old tokusatsu and sentai from the 70's and while I think they did it due to cheap licensing and nothing else I was happy to see them on the market.

I hope that Disney does keep it going. They do a good job with it, I think. But 4kids...idk, i wasn't too too impressed with kamen rider. Hopefully, Disney will keep it going and put it on DisneyXD, like it should have been in the first place. Then I can be on it xd

I really like Dragon Knight mainly beacause it is not the crappy Saban's Masked Rider which was so terrible it sends me into a homicidal rage. It is also suprisingly close to the original, but it is not Decade.

I just don't know what to say about this. It would just be hard to believe a world where the Power Rangers aren't in it. I was hoping when I'm old and gray that the PRs would still be there in some sort of way or form.

The series left with a cliffhanger. Let the writers dwell on it. Great stories come out of time left alone. It is what it is, but it isn't the end.

It's not like they/they've could have Americanized/bastardized Shinkenger helped the series out.

jesman It's not like they/they've could have Americanized/bastardized Shinkenger helped the series out. I'm sure Disney could of thought up some dopey explanation about the Orgami (can't spell the damn word) zords, but you know they'd have a hell of a time trying to think of something to explain the theme of the Japanese characters. something like that was just too far beyond Disney's PR's creative staff.

You were close, its Origami. I agree. Shinkenger was way out of Disney's league. Although it could have been done if they didn't cut so much original stuff out and made it for "young adults."

Though RPM, especially in the beginning was very dark for Power Rangers. Disney even put it on its "teen" channel, I think.

XD is meant to be the "boys" channel for Disney largely. the shows that appeal more to girls air on the regular Disney channel.

...I thought it was because disney couldn't afford to do anymore PR series...hmm... I gotta admit RPM inhaled quite horribly, and was poorly done...but to just can the entire series 'cause they suck at it? Jeez disney just sell it off and cut your losses... Then again...this is the same company that wanted to air an animated film named 'Tar Baby' so I guess they don't have the IQ they're credited with....
