Back to more Basic Combos ~ xD  Now you've got something to think about... "hmm I wonder what goes well with that?"One answer would be, Lions Eye Diamond:Oracle Text: Sacrifice Lion's Eye Diamond, Discard your hand: Add three mana of any one color to your mana pool. Play this ability only any time you could play an instant.Then you'll need mana accel, Thran Dynamo, Lotus Blossom; & Creatures with a good sac ability like Bottle Gnomes or Cathodion. There's easier combo's for Barren Glory, like Academy Rector with Kaerveks Spite, but I like to make things difficult xD

Alright, basic: Haakon, Stromgald Scourge + Changeling spells.
That part of it doesn't go infinite (arbitrarily large but infinite is more fun to say) but reuseable Crib Swaps and Nameless Inversions can be fun.
To go infinite you add Edgewalker. That gets you free Shields of Vellis Vel and Inversions for 1 colorless. If you add a banneret/ warchief of choice you get free inversions. At which point, you can give your creatures infinite toughness, then infinite power. You can probably figure out a way to win from there.
The initial setup is much more stable, though. And you can combine it with Court Hussar and 3 nonwhite mana for reusable drawing.

I like the thought of the Leechbonder + Utopia Vow combination. I haven't built a deck yet with it, but I want to. Doubling Season and something with a +1/+1 counter on it and you can start making an infinite number of counters.... (absurdly large amount... there is no infinity lol ) I might go looking at my Simic guild stuff now that I've started thinking about this... look out Extended, I have a horrendous idea (not as in lethal... more like bad idea)

The only combo/deck concept that I ever came up with that was actually worth something is Rebels + Mirror Entity. Honestly, I never even try to deck build/suggest combos because my boyfriend is kind of a know-it-all when it comes to magic and won't humor me if I say something below genius level intelligence . . . but this is the one thing I ever thought up on my own that worked beautifully! Back when Rebels were standard (10th ones like Amrou Seeker, Blightspeaker, Defiant Vanguard, etc.) this deck was my baby ^_^ Searching is un-counterable, and once you're at a good point in the game you whip out Mirror Entity and surprise the hell out of your opponent - after first surprising them that you're playing something as outdated as Rebels, if you win you really shock them whee

zerfist Freedom the wolf zerfist Quill spike + devoted druid + rite of consumption = win the game. Same here man did it last game I played I love that combo. I came up with it in my sleep. Haha! I love it when the bizarre and horrifying things I dream about actually come in handy in the real world! Quill Spike and Devoted Druid are BFF, you don't even need Rite of Consumption to win xp

DA-FDNT: an easier way of doing that is greater garagdon XP
3rd you have it out
need Simian Spiritguide, rite of flame, seething song,barren glory, and greater garagdon in your hand. On your side 2 plains and a mountain. Tap the mountain for rite of flame, remove the spirit guide. Use the 3 red mana for seething song. Use 4 of the red and the 2 plains to place Barren glory. Then use the last red to place gargadon and sac your 3 lands XP

Kaiser Khronos Bloom Tender + Freed From the Reel = Infinite Mana. Add it to Helix Pinnacle Bane Fire any X cost spells FTW I actually have a deck like this too XP thought of it all by myself no internets XD Call of the Wild helps too, just fill your deck with big green creatures and a Roughshod Mentor to give them trample. Whetwheel is fun too. Might consider Argothian Elder with freed too..just gotta have a forest and island out.Orochi leafcaller is good to so you can convert all that green mana into any color without complicating the bloom tender combo.

It isn't an uber combo or anything but my favorite is Flamekin Harbinger and Nova Chaser. Bringer out Nova chaser with harbinger. Champion the harbinger attack with nova..they kill nova and take damage and harbinger comes into play again...yea you get the idea

figured id go oldschool for a minute
i have seen a variant of this with crazy stuff like doomsday, lich's mirror .... it was a riot seeing an old combo like this one being revived for a breif moment
its all fun and games till someone throws a force of will or misdirection in your face
EDIT::i realized on completion of that statement , that banefire eliminates 50% of teh problem that was previously stated

He hates it
